Remote Marketing Content Creator

Location: Remote (International) - Preference for candidates located in Latin America due to business hours alignment. Applicants must be available during U.S. Central Time business hours.

Position Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (1099-equivalent outside the U.S.)

Quiet Village Landscaping has spent more than two decades transforming and maintaining outdoor spaces throughout the St. Louis area. Our work includes landscape design, outdoor construction, gardening, lawn care, irrigation, fertilization, plant health, and full-service property care. We are looking for a creative marketing professional who can turn our projects and expertise into engaging digital content.

The Remote Marketing Content Creator will help plan, produce, edit, and publish content across Quiet Village Landscaping's digital channels. This person will create educational, visually engaging, and brand-consistent material that showcases our projects, attracts prospective clients, supports recruiting, and strengthens our position in the St. Louis market.

The ideal candidate combines strong writing skills with visual creativity and can adapt field photos, videos, project information, and landscaping knowledge into content people want to read, watch, and share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create written and visual content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, recruiting, and company communications.
  • Develop social posts, captions, short-form videos, graphics, and project spotlights.

Edit photos and video footage supplied by field and office team members.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.
  • Build and manage a practical content calendar.
  • Research relevant landscaping, gardening, outdoor living, and seasonal topics.

Turn technical information into clear, useful content for homeowners.

  • Write and edit website articles and search-friendly blog content.
  • Support email newsletters, promotions, service reminders, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate with company leaders to gather project updates, client stories, and subject-matter expertise.
  • Track basic content performance and recommend improvements.

Organize digital assets, project photos, video files, and content drafts. Support employer-branding and recruitment marketing as needed.

Qualifications

Excellent written and spoken English. Previous experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, copywriting, graphic design, or video editing. Please include a portfolio or links to relevant work with your application, demonstrating writing, social content, graphics, photography, or video work. Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, WordPress, or similar platforms. Ability to edit short-form video content for social platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines. Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines independently. Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work. Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and remote workspace. Availability for regular collaboration during U.S. Central Time business hours. Experience with landscaping, construction, home services, real estate, architecture, or design is helpful but not required. Knowledge of search engine optimization and email-marketing platforms is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

This is an independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any legally required benefits in their country of residence. Pay: $8-$10 USD per hour, depending on experience Approximately 30-40 hours per week. Monday-Friday during U.S. Central Time business hours. Consistent collaboration with a U.S.-based team. Opportunity to develop content across multiple formats and platforms. Long-term potential with a growing organization. Independent contractor arrangement; traditional U.S. employee benefits are not included unless otherwise specified.
