Content Writer, SEO & AI Search

Accountabilities:

• Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive content strategy focused on driving organic growth and increasing brand visibility.

• Plan, write, and publish high-quality blog content targeting high-value keywords and user search intent.

• Create engaging and informative content formats, including long-form guides, how-to articles, listicles, comparison pieces, landing pages, and product-focused copy.

• Build and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with key seasonal trends, audience interests, and business priorities.

• Optimize on-page SEO elements, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking structures, and page copy.

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all content initiatives.

• Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies through outreach, guest posting, relationship building, and content partnerships.

• Monitor and improve brand visibility across AI-powered search experiences, including generative search engines and AI answer platforms.

• Conduct content audits, identify optimization opportunities, and continuously refine content performance strategies.

• Track and analyze key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks, engagement, and content ROI to inform future initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in SEO content writing, content marketing, or a related field.

• Strong portfolio showcasing published content with demonstrated search performance and writing excellence.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to create content that is both engaging and optimized for search.

• Deep understanding of search intent, keyword research methodologies, and modern SEO best practices.

• Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.

• Proven expertise in on-page SEO, including content structuring, internal linking strategies, metadata optimization, and content audits.

• Familiarity with AI Search Optimization (GEO) and an understanding of how generative search platforms influence content discovery.

• Ability to write across multiple content formats, from educational blog posts to conversion-focused website copy.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable content strategies.

• Highly self-motivated and capable of independently managing priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.

• Curiosity about audience behavior, digital culture, and emerging trends in content consumption and search technologies.

• Comfortable collaborating across time zones and maintaining availability during overlapping working hours.
