The Challenge
NielsenIQ's Book Panel team powers France's publishing industry with market intelligence on bestsellers, trends, and competitive positioning. You'll be the analytical backbone supporting consultants who advise major publishers on strategy.
Your Mission
Master NielsenIQ's panel data infrastructure and deliver 3+ sector-specific market reports (children's, literary, practical books, comics)
Shadow and support 10+ client presentations, synthesizing sales trends and competitive analysis
Own daily panel operations: respond to client ad-hoc requests with clean data analysis and 48-hour turnaround
Develop proficiency in Excel pivot tables, data visualization, and PowerPoint storytelling for executive audiences
Lead 2-3 independent digital panel or consumer study projects from brief to delivery
Build repeatable analysis templates reducing report production time by 30%
Identify and pitch 3+ insights on emerging market opportunities (e-books, subscriptions, retail trends) to leadership
Earn promotion consideration by demonstrating strategic thinking beyond data pulling

Deliver 100% of weekly/monthly panel reports on-time with zero data reconciliation errors.
Client Satisfaction
Achieve 4.5+/5 rating on analysis quality and responsiveness from publisher clients.
Analysis Depth
Move from data compilation to value-add insights: competitive benchmarks, trend forecasting, actionable recommendations per report.
Project Ownership
Progress from supporting consultant-led projects to owning 3+ digital/consumer studies independently by month 6.
