Stripe’s Scale Partner Marketing Lead has to build the operating model while running the work. This suits a global B2B marketer who can lead a large, distributed effort and keep partners, teams, and budgets pointed at growth.
What the role really is
You’ll shape a new global partner marketing function, then make it work across partner segments and regions. The job spans strategy, team leadership, campaigns, events, partner programs, and investment decisions. The hard part is bringing those pieces together and proving which ones drive customer growth and partner impact.
What you'll do
- Set the vision, strategy, and operating model for scale partner marketing.
- Lead partner communications, including value propositions, editorial planning, and coordination across teams.
- Shape Stripe’s partner presence at Sessions, Stripe Tour, industry events, and through a Partner Advisory Board.
- Build a global online and regional event approach, with shared planning and coordinator capacity.
- Guide partner campaign content, prioritizing it around partner needs and opportunities and learning from usage data.
- Define partner journeys by type and tier, and use them to shape program requirements and marketing.
- Create and manage market development funds and incentives tied to product and sales growth objectives.
- Lead and develop the marketing team, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and resolve resourcing and execution issues.
- Measure performance across marketing programs and share what is driving acquisition, activation, and partner impact.
What they want
- 15+ years of B2B partner marketing experience.
- 5+ years managing people, including managers, and building teams of 5+.
- Experience leading global marketing execution across regions and distributed teams across time zones.
- A track record of aligning partner marketing leaders around shared goals and plans.
- Strong communication, cross-functional leadership, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience shaping value propositions and messaging frameworks.
- Experience measuring and improving marketing ROI, with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into useful decisions.
- A deep understanding of partner channels, customer journeys, sales cycles, and product lifecycles.
- Fintech, payments, or adjacent industry experience is a plus, as is experience in a high-growth tech company, demand generation, or product marketing.
Why it's interesting
