What you'll do

Ramp is building its UK business from the ground up. This role is for a commercial builder who can turn senior relationships into real routes to revenue.

What the role really is

You own Ramp’s UK partner strategy and commercial outcomes. There’s no mature playbook to inherit: you’ll decide where partnerships can move the market, build the relationships, and set a steady operating rhythm with the UK go-to-market team.

What you'll do

  • Choose the partner categories and relationships that can grow awareness, pipeline, customer value, and Ramp’s position in the UK.
  • Build senior relationships across accounting, investment, consulting, financial services, and technology.
  • Work with UK Channel Partner Managers to connect the broader ecosystem strategy with their partner work.
  • Turn priority relationships into partnership plans with a clear value proposition, commercial path, and shared accountability.
  • Source and influence pipeline, open warm paths to target customers, and support strategic deals through partners.
  • Represent Ramp in executive meetings, industry events, and partner forums.
  • Bring partner and customer insights to Sales, Product, Marketing, and leadership.
  • Set up account plans, scorecards, executive briefs, pipeline visibility, and consistent follow-through.
  • Help shape UK and European go-to-market strategy as the business grows.

What they want

  • 10+ years in sales, partnerships, business development, alliances, or go-to-market leadership.
  • A record of building senior relationships and delivering commercial outcomes in complex B2B settings.
  • Experience owning revenue, quota, influenced pipeline, or similarly concrete goals.
  • The judgment and presence to represent Ramp in high-stakes conversations with senior leaders.
  • Experience building a territory, vertical, business line, or partner motion from a blank page.
  • The ability to turn broad relationships into specific opportunities and keep momentum through long sales cycles.
  • Strategic and analytical judgment, including making data-informed investment cases to senior leadership.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to align teams around a partnership story.
  • Daily comfort using AI in your work.
  • Ability to work five days a week from Ramp’s London office and travel across the UK and continental Europe as needed.
  • A UK network of senior leaders or experience in fintech, financial services, consulting, enterprise technology, payments, spend management, or international go-to-market is useful. An additional European language is also a plus.

Why it's interesting

You’ll own a major external growth mandate while Ramp builds its UK business. The job puts you close to senior leaders across Channel, Sales, Product, and Marketing, with room to shape the market strategy and responsibility for commercial results.
