The Challenge
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is scaling OTTAVA, a next-gen surgical platform tackling obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. You'll architect the launch playbook and marketing ops infrastructure that gets breakthrough tech to surgeons worldwide-fast.
Your Mission
Map current launch governance and identify 3-5 process bottlenecks blocking execution velocity across GSM, Brand, CommOps, and regional teams
Design and socialize streamlined Launch Excellence framework v1, including risk tracking, dependency management, and cross-functional cadence
Stand up integrated project management tool (Smartsheet, Monday, Jira, or similar) with real-time visibility into release timelines and critical path dependencies
Conduct stakeholder alignment sessions with Director, Global Strategic Marketing, and regional leads to lock in Ways of Working and decision rights
Execute 2+ full product launches under new framework, demonstrating 20%+ reduction in time-to-readiness vs. baseline
Build executive dashboard showing launch health (on-time delivery, budget variance, risk status) with monthly board-ready reporting
Establish and operationalize cross-functional governance ceremonies (steering, planning, stand-ups) with >90% attendance and documented decisions
Document playbook and train 15+ cross-regional stakeholders on Launch Excellence framework, driving adoption and repeatable execution
