What you'll do
Director of Marketing | Remote
- Build the engine. Don't just run the campaigns.
A fast-growing consulting firm serving healthcare practices is looking for a hands-on growth marketer to own lead gen and brand awareness end to end. This is a builder role: you'll set the strategy, run the channels, lead the team, and own the number.
What you'll own
Demand gen: email, social, podcasts, and events targeting business owners, plus ABM, lead scoring, and nurture sequences
Digital and search: the website, SEO, AEO, and GEO, so the brand shows up in Google results, AI answers, and tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Plus paid ads across Google and Meta.
PR and events: media relations, press coverage, and thought leadership placements in industry publications. Plus live events, webinars, speaking engagements, and industry association partnerships.
Content and brand: expertise-led content and sales enablement assets that make the sales team's job easier
The team: internal staff and outside agencies, held accountable to results
The numbers: dashboards, CPL and ROI targets, and the marketing budget
You're a fit if you have
5+ years in B2B marketing with real ownership of pipeline results (selling to small business owners is a big plus)
Proven people leadership: you coach, set the bar, and hold it
Hands-on chops in Meta, paid digital, email/SMS, content, and events
A working command of AEO and GEO: structured content, schema, and authority-building that gets you cited by AI search, not just ranked
PR experience: pitching media, landing earned coverage, and positioning leaders as go-to experts
Fluency in HubSpot (certified or deep experience)
A habit of using AI tools to work faster and smarter
Comfort with data. You find the signal and act on it.
Availability for event travel, including some weekends
What success looks like: a steady flow of MQLs that close, traffic and engagement climbing quarter over quarter, the brand showing up when buyers ask AI tools for answers, events that fill seats and drive revenue, and every budget dollar earning its keep.
Why this role: you get full-funnel ownership in a specialized, fast-growing niche, with a clear path to broader scope as the company scales. You'll also own the full visibility stack: earned media, search, and AI answers working together.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
This company values collaboration, innovation, and work-life balance. The culture is intentional, prioritizing a work environment where team members thrive.
Benefits include
401(k) retirement plan (up to 4% company match)
Monthly health stipend
Generous paid time off schedule
Continuing education reimbursement
Reports to the CRO. Fully remote, with occasional travel for events.
