The Challenge
Phaxis is looking for a rare breed: a Digital Marketing Manager who codes in Photoshop and leads by example. You'll own the full creative pipeline for a established insurance player while mentoring a small creative team—no hiding behind agencies allowed.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize existing digital marketing assets; establish brand standards and creative guidelines for all outputs
Own one major email campaign end-to-end using Pardot, measuring open rates, CTR, and conversion performance
Onboard and align your small creative team on workflows, tooling, and project management expectations
Inventory current CMS content in Sitecore; identify and execute 3-5 UX/messaging improvements
Launch 2-3 integrated digital campaigns (email + web + print) with measurable lift in engagement and conversion metrics
Build a reusable template library and asset management system to reduce production cycle time by 25%+
Mentor and develop team members on Adobe Creative Cloud and marketing best practices; document processes
Establish monthly analytics cadence using Salesforce; show data-driven creative optimization driving 10%+ performance gains

Is This Role For You?
- You've spent 7+ years designing and producing marketing work yourself—and you still do it daily, not just in interviews
- You're fluent in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign) and can show a portfolio of work YOU created
- You thrive leading small teams while staying in the weeds on production; you don't need a designer to execute your vision
- You love New York and actually want to show up in-office; you're energized by face-to-face collaboration
- You're a pure strategist or manager who outsources all creative work to agencies or freelancers
- You haven't touched design tools in 5+ years or your portfolio is mostly direction/supervision, not execution
- Remote work is non-negotiable for you—this is 100% in-office, no exceptions
Interview Process

Submit resume + portfolio of creative work YOU personally produced (designs, videos, campaigns). Be ready to walk through your role in each piece.

Leadership & Strategy Discussion
Conversation on how you mentor teams, manage priorities, and use data to refine creative work.
Final Interview
Meet with hiring manager and/or team lead to assess culture fit and collaborative style.
