The Challenge

GitGuardian is a post-Series B cybersecurity unicorn backed by GitHub's co-founder and Docker's creator. You'll own demand generation for their hot Non-Human Identity Security product line, scaling MQL-to-meeting rates and building pipeline for 10 hungry Account Executives.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Launch and own a webinar program that drives measurable attendance and qualified pipeline (target: 20+ SQLs per program)

Execute 2-3 vertical outbound campaigns with local sales teams targeting compliance/industry-specific pain points

3

Test 3+ new channels and create a playbook documenting what generates pipeline fastest for your ICPs

4

Establish SLA with Sales team on lead activation and create 2 outbound playbooks for BDRs to execute

By 6 Months

Scale webinar program to consistent monthly cadence with documented ROI and cost-per-opportunity benchmarks

Build repeatable multi-channel demand gen engine (paid + organic + ABM) generating 100+ qualified opportunities/month

Optimize MQL-to-meeting rate by 25%+ through improved nurture sequences and audience targeting

4

Establish 3-4 industry vertical campaigns with measurable pipeline contribution and win rates by vertical

MQL-to-Meeting Conversion Rate

Percentage of marketing-qualified leads that convert to sales meetings; primary north star for demand gen efficiency.

Cost Per Opportunity

Total demand gen spend divided by qualified opportunities created; measures program efficiency and budget ROI.

Pipeline Created by Channel

Revenue pipeline attributed to each demand gen channel (webinars, paid, ABM, outbound); informs budget allocation.

Webinar Attendance & SQL Rate

Number of registrants, attendance rate, and percentage converting to sales meetings; measures content-market fit.

Sales Cycle Time by ICP/Vertical

Average days from first touch to close; identifies which segments have shortest paths to revenue.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've directly owned technical demand gen programs and crushed it in at least one tactic (SEA, SMA, email, webinars, or ABM)
  • You've managed freelancers or agencies and owned your own P&L with a track record of efficiency improvements
  • You understand cybersecurity or DevOps markets and can speak the language of security teams and compliance officers
  • You're hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable A/B testing everything to optimize MQL-to-meeting rates
Won't Work If
  • You're brand/content-focused and don't want to own demand gen metrics and pipeline accountability
  • You need 100% remote work; this role requires hybrid presence in NYC or Boston
  • You lack direct experience running multi-channel demand gen campaigns or managing external agencies/budgets
