SUMMARY
WD Electronics is looking for a Marketing Manager who wants more than a marketing-management job. We want a builder who can execute at a high level today, lead people and systems tomorrow, and earn the opportunity to grow into our Director of Marketing role.
This is a hands-on growth role. You will work directly with the Director of Sales & Marketing to turn company strategy into campaigns, launches, content, ecommerce improvements, dealer marketing, paid media, email, SEO, social, automation, and measurable demand.
We do not measure Marketing by how busy the calendar looks. We care about execution, conversion, qualified demand, pipeline contribution, revenue impact, and whether the team is getting better.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Marketing execution - Turn priorities into briefs, timelines, owners, assets, campaigns, launches, and measurable results.
- Demand generation - Manage programs that create qualified dealer and consumer demand, not just raw lead volume.
- Website & ecommerce - Drive CRO, product-page, landing-page, mobile, merchandising, and customer-journey improvements.
- Paid media - Manage performance, agencies, spend, CPA, CAC, ROAS, creative, landing pages, and corrective action.
- Product launches - Coordinate messaging, website, dealer materials, photo/video, email, social, paid media, and launch reporting.
- Dealer marketing - Build campaigns, education, promotions, nurture, reactivation, and sales-enablement tools that help dealers sell WD.
- Content & creative - Manage priorities across photography, video, social, advertising, product content, dealer content, and website creative.
- Email & lifecycle - Improve welcome, abandoned-cart, nurture, post-purchase, cross-sell, reactivation, and dealer lifecycle programs.
- Marketing operations - Keep campaign calendars, CRM workflows, automation, attribution, reporting, budgets, vendors, and priorities organized.
- Team leadership - Run the day-to-day marketing machine, hold commitments, coach contributors, and keep work moving without constant follow-up.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A strong marketing generalist who can connect creative work to business outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns, projects, vendors, deadlines, and stakeholders at the same time.
- Working knowledge of ecommerce, paid media, website conversion, email, content, CRM / automation, and analytics.
- Comfort with numbers including CPA, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, funnel performance, pipeline, and budget.
- Strong written communication and the ability to turn strategy into clear briefs and executable plans.
- Leadership potential: accountable, decisive, coachable, curious, organized, and willing to get into the work.
- Powersports, automotive, manufacturing, dealer/channel, or consumer-product experience is a plus.
THIS ROLE IS BUILT TO GROW
We are intentionally hiring this position with a path toward Director of Marketing. That promotion is not based on tenure. It is earned by demonstrating the ability to independently lead the team, build strategy, manage budget, create qualified pipeline, improve acquisition economics, drive website conversion, lead product launches, make strong business decisions, and communicate at the executive level.
YOU'LL PROBABLY LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Want more responsibility and a clear path to grow.
- Like measurable goals and ownership.
- Move fast, follow through, and hate missed deadlines.
- Can balance creative judgment with analytical discipline.
- Understand that Sales and Marketing must operate as one revenue engine.
- Want your work to have a visible impact on company growth.
YOU PROBABLY WON'T LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Need someone to constantly tell you what to do next.
- Avoid numbers or accountability.
- Think impressions, followers, and activity are the primary measures of Marketing.
- Want agencies to own the strategy.
- Prefer managing tasks over improving outcomes.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Marketing becomes organized, measurable, faster, and more effective. Priority campaigns launch on time. Paid performance and website conversion improve. Sales gets better qualified demand. Product launches are coordinated. The team knows what matters. And over time, you prove you can take full ownership of the Marketing function.
