About Alexis Landre

My name is Boris. I am 40, originally from Germany, and over the years I have lived in Switzerland, Finland and now Japan. All great countries if you enjoy snowboarding, like I do. Over the last decade, I was part of the leadership team at the Japanese design firm Goodpatch (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 7351), which I joined as one of its first employees, helping to build and lead the global business between Tokyo and Berlin. The company went public in 2020 and today operates at roughly 33 million dollars in annual revenue with around 260 employees. Being part of this IPO was an incredibly proud milestone for me and, in many ways, my real-life MBA. I remain very grateful for the people I had the chance to build and learn with. In 2023, after becoming a dad, I stepped away from my executive role to redesign my life more intentionally. After years of fast-paced work across Tokyo and Berlin, my wife and I chose to build a quieter and more balanced life by the ocean in Chiba, Japan. Around that same time, I received my ADHD diagnosis relatively late, at the age of 37. For many years I had been operating on drive, intuition, creativity and intensity without fully understanding my own patterns. In hindsight a lot suddenly made sense. Since then I have been learning how to structure my life and work in a way that feels more sustainable. In many ways, Neurospicy Founders is something I created for an earlier version of myself. It is a global community where neurodivergent founders and builders can connect, share experiences and grow without feeling the need to mask. Alongside this, I am building SOFT, an AI studio working at the intersection of design and automation. We develop small but powerful agents together with design teams, consultancies and VCs, helping turn weeks of work into hours. Our flagship Brand Agent is available on the FifthRow platform. Over the years I have worked across roles as a designer, an executive and now as an investor and solopreneur. At my core I am still a designer. That is how I see the world. Across all of this, my work is simple at its core: I help founders design better systems for work and for themselves. When I am not working or chasing after my kid, you will most likely find me snowboarding in the Japanese backcountry, surfing in Chiba or helping with my wife’s craft sake business. More to come.
