What you'll do
This job is for the person who wants to shape how AI changes the GTM engine, then get into the build and make it work. If you’d rather advise from a distance, this one will frustrate you.
What the role really is
You’ll own the architecture connecting marketing, sales, and customer experience systems, with Salesforce at the center. Klaviyo is rebuilding that stack around AI agents, and you’ll turn that direction into working systems and processes.
You’ll also be the person senior leaders call when the problem is fuzzy and the tradeoffs matter. Expect to make the case clearly, then help ship the answer.
What you'll do
- Design the architecture across Salesforce, marketing automation, sales engagement, data enrichment, and customer success and support platforms.
- Build and ship AI agents that automate manual GTM work, with auditability built in.
- Redesign lead-to-revenue, opportunity management, renewals, expansion, and support handoffs for AI-driven workflows.
- Write and ship code across Apex, LWC, SOQL, integrations, and AI orchestration layers.
- Set data quality and governance standards, and build reporting infrastructure leadership can trust.
- Explain architectural decisions and AI tradeoffs to GTM, RevOps, and executive leaders.
- Review code, pair with teammates, and mentor engineers on system design and AI-native workflows.
What they want
- Experience making technical decisions for a complex GTM platform across multiple functions, such as marketing, sales, and customer success.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, and integrations.
- Experience building agentic AI or LLM-powered workflows for real business problems, and a clear view on when AI should and shouldn’t make decisions.
- The ability to turn ambiguous business problems into technical designs, explain the tradeoffs, and drive delivery.
- A track record of improving engineering practices through code review, GitHub workflows, and technical mentorship.
- Helpful extras include an architect-track Salesforce certification or equivalent experience, production experience with agent frameworks, and familiarity with GTM tools, vector databases, and RAG.
Why it's interesting
Your architecture and code will shape how Klaviyo generates, converts, and retains revenue. You’ll work across marketing, sales, and customer experience as one system, and help set the standards for an AI-first GTM operation.
