What you'll do
This is a hands-on GTM analytics job: you’ll turn fuzzy revenue questions into clear recommendations. You’ll do well here if you can get into the data yourself and explain what the numbers mean to the people making decisions.
What the role really is
You’ll own analysis for an assigned GTM area, from framing the question through recommending what to do next. The stakeholders span Sales, Strategy, RevOps, Marketing, Deal Desk, and more. Dashboards are part of the job, but the point is helping those teams make better calls.
What you'll do
- Turn ambiguous business questions into an analytical plan.
- Pull, transform, and visualize data using SQL, dbt, and BI tools.
- Explain metric changes, including shifts in conversion rates.
- Answer recurring and one-off questions from revenue stakeholders.
- Recommend next steps based on the analysis.
- Maintain dashboards and reports, and document their logic and definitions.
- Define dashboard requirements for the central data team when a dashboard is the right answer.
- Mentor Level 2 analysts on query writing and analytical approach.
- Use AI assistants to speed up query development and analysis.
What they want
- Strong working knowledge of SaaS sales motions, opportunity stages, pipeline progression, and Salesforce object structure.
- Proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Looker or similar BI tools.
- Ability to pull, analyze, and visualize data independently.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards.
- Clear analytical thinking and confidence working directly with revenue stakeholders.
- Comfort using Claude or similar AI assistants for analysis.
- Four or more years working with GTM teams is listed among the bonus skills.
- Bonus experience: revenue planning and forecasting, marketing funnels and campaign attribution, Salesforce, basic financial concepts, or Python.
Why it's interesting
You’ll work on questions that connect the data to real revenue decisions, from pipeline progression to marketing attribution and forecasting. The role gives you room to own the analysis and make the recommendation, rather than stopping at the report.
