What you'll do
You’ll own the messy middle between a product decision and a launch that actually works. This role is for someone who can spot the downstream consequences early, get the right people moving, and make readiness a real operating capability.
What the role really is
You turn product and commercial changes into clear requirements, owners, decisions, and launch plans. You coordinate the teams involved, then make sure the customer and seller journeys hold together from quote to renewal.
You won’t own every team’s deliverables. You will own the readiness picture, surface the gaps, and push for resolution before launch.
What you'll do
- Lead readiness for product launches, pricing and packaging changes, new SKUs, migrations, deprecations, and route-to-market changes.
- Translate product decisions into requirements for catalog, pricing, contracting, quoting, billing, provisioning, compensation, reporting, and customer lifecycle processes.
- Get involved early with Product to identify affected GTM motions, dependencies, owners, decisions, and lead times.
- Coordinate readiness across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Enablement, and GTM Technology.
- Define business scenarios and coordinate validation of the end-to-end customer and seller experience.
- Surface risks, unresolved decisions, dependencies, and operational gaps, then drive them toward resolution or explicit risk acceptance.
- Build reusable readiness processes, launch patterns, requirements frameworks, and automation.
What they want
- At least 8 years of professional experience, including 5 or more years in Product Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Systems, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting launches, pricing or packaging changes, commercial model changes, or other work connecting Product and GTM teams.
- Working knowledge of several SaaS commercial processes, such as quoting, pricing, contracting, billing, provisioning, renewals, compensation, or customer lifecycle management.
- A track record of turning ambiguous needs into clear requirements, dependencies, decisions, and execution plans.
- Experience coordinating complex work across Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Sales, and other functions without direct authority.
- Systems thinking: you can see how one change affects downstream processes, systems, data, and customer experiences.
- Clear writing and communication. You can document requirements, facilitate decisions, explain risks, and create clarity across teams with different priorities.
- B2B SaaS or subscription business experience is preferred, as is experience with Salesforce, CPQ, billing, commerce, provisioning, or entitlement systems.
- Experience improving launch or readiness processes, supporting multiple sales motions, or using automation and AI in readiness work is also preferred.
Why it's interesting
You get broad exposure to how product decisions travel through a commercial business. You can shape the readiness process itself, catch friction earlier, and help teams launch complex changes with more confidence.
