What you'll do
Asana needs someone who can turn a promising partner conversation into a working go-to-market motion. You’ll build the partner network that helps take its platform from work management toward an AI-powered operating system.
What the role really is
This is partner building from the ground up. You’ll recruit the right firms, get senior leaders invested, and make sure both sides know how to sell and deliver together. The job only works if those relationships produce real pipeline and revenue.
What you'll do
- Build a partner recruitment plan aligned with Asana’s platform direction.
- Find, assess, recruit, and activate partners with strengths in sales, technical solutioning, consulting, change management, and professional services.
- Develop relationships with partner C-suite and VP leaders.
- Create joint business plans covering revenue goals, go-to-market strategy, pipeline targets, and partner enablement.
- Align partner sellers with Asana’s direct sales team on co-selling and opportunity management.
- Work with marketing, partner programs, customer success, and solutions engineering to support partners.
- Set KPIs, scorecards, and QBR frameworks to track partner health, pipeline, and partner-sourced or influenced revenue.
What they want
- Experience in channel partnerships, partner development, or strategic alliances in SaaS or enterprise software.
- A record of recruiting and activating new partners from scratch.
- Knowledge of GTM partners such as systems integrators, consultancies, and technology advisors.
- Familiarity with adjacent ecosystems including Atlassian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft.
- Confidence advising and presenting to partner executives and senior leaders.
- A strong grasp of AI-powered SaaS platforms and the ability to explain Asana’s Work Graph and platform capabilities.
- Experience working across marketing, sales, product, and customer success.
- A data-driven approach to partner scorecards, QBRs, and performance dashboards.
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technology, plus a willingness to learn.
Why it's interesting
You get to shape a new generation of partners as Asana evolves its platform. The work spans recruiting, executive relationships, joint planning, field alignment, and performance. If you like building the system behind a partnership, this role gives you room to do that.
