The Challenge
Explora Journeys is a Swiss-born luxury cruise brand redefining the category with six ultra-premium ships, and they need a Performance Marketing Manager to drive North America's digital revenue engine. You'll own multi-channel performance campaigns at scale, optimizing spend across search, social, and programmatic while partnering with global teams and external agencies.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize all active NA performance campaigns across paid search, social, and display; establish baseline KPIs and identify quick wins
Build recurring performance dashboards with agency and analytics team; establish clean UTM infrastructure and attribution tracking
Develop 90-day media plan with agency partner; align budget allocation across channels based on historical performance and Q1-Q2 commercial priorities
Launch A/B testing roadmap for audiences, creatives, and landing pages; document first learnings and winners
Scale top-performing creative and audience segments; increase qualified web sessions and bookings by 20-30% vs. baseline while maintaining efficient CAC
Execute full-funnel optimization cycle; present quarterly performance insights and forecasts to senior leadership with clear reallocation recommendations
Establish agency SLA framework and accountability structure; conduct mid-year agency review and strategy refresh
Partner with Geneva HQ and global teams to codify local learnings and scale winning strategies across regions

Cost Per Qualified Lead / Cost Per Booking
Track efficiency of demand generation and conversion down the funnel to ensure media spend drives profitable bookings.
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
Measure revenue generated per dollar spent across all performance channels to optimize budget allocation.
Qualified Web Sessions / Click-Through Rate
Monitor top-funnel traffic quality and volume to validate targeting and creative effectiveness.
Media Pacing vs. Budget
Track weekly/monthly spend velocity and adjust dynamically to hit quarterly and annual forecasts.
A/B Test Lift by Variable
Quantify improvement from creative, audience, and format tests to build a scalable playbook.
