Checkr acquired Truework to disrupt a $5B+ legacy industry with modern employment verification. You'll build and scale paid acquisition programs for this startup-within-a-startup, owning the full funnel from strategy to revenue impact.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize existing paid search and paid social campaigns; identify quick wins to improve CAC and ROAS within first 30 days
Establish baseline performance metrics and full-funnel reporting infrastructure across all channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, display, retargeting)
Launch 2-3 data-driven experiments across messaging, creative, and landing pages; document learnings and scale winners
Build alignment and cadence with Sales, RevOps, and Product Marketing; define account-based targeting strategy and measurement framework
Scale proven paid channels; grow pipeline contribution by 30-40% while maintaining or improving CAC efficiency vs. baseline
Test and pilot 2-3 adjacent channels (direct mail, industry publications, content sponsorships); build playbooks for scalable winners
Implement predictive analytics or attribution modeling to improve cross-channel visibility and optimize budget allocation
Document and operationalize growth playbooks; build repeatable systems that enable self-serve activations and revenue growth

Cost Per Acquisition (CAC)
Track CAC by channel and compare to target; optimize spend allocation to lowest-cost channels.
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
Measure revenue generated per dollar spent across paid channels; target minimum 3-4x ROAS.
Pipeline Contribution
Attribute pipeline dollars to paid campaigns; own growth in qualified pipeline quarter-over-quarter.
Conversion Rate by Funnel Stage
Monitor conversion rates from click to lead, lead to qualified, and qualified to customer; identify bottlenecks.
Self-Serve Activation Rate
Track percentage of prospects who convert to paying customers without sales touch; measure product-led growth impact.
