What you'll do
This is a build job for a content marketer who can turn educator interest into a real professional learning business. If you write well, run projects tightly, and know how to get an offering to market, you’ll have room to shape what Moreland builds next.
What the role really is
You’ll own how Moreland University brings professional learning to educators, from the launch calendar to the messaging and the work that happens between idea and launch. Faculty and subject matter experts build the curriculum. You bring audience insight, editorial judgment, project leadership, and marketing.
What you'll do
- Plan and prioritize the portfolio and launch calendar for courses, learning journeys, certificates, microcredentials, webinars, and other educator experiences.
- Lead projects from concept through launch, coordinating faculty, experts, creative partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Write landing pages, course titles and descriptions, emails, blog posts, promotional messaging, participant communications, and sales materials.
- Build go-to-market plans to grow awareness, registrations, subscriptions, repeat engagement, and the portfolio over time.
- Use learner feedback, participation data, market insights, and performance metrics to improve offerings and guide what gets built next.
What they want
- At least 4 years in content marketing or a closely related role, ideally in education, EdTech, professional learning, online learning, or another educator-facing setting.
- Hands-on experience creating marketing content and bringing programs, courses, events, digital content, or similar offerings to market.
- Strong writing and editing across short and long formats, with the ability to make educational ideas clear and engaging for educators.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects from idea through execution, including working with subject matter experts.
- Creative thinking, organization, audience empathy, commercial awareness, and the ability to use performance insights to improve engagement.
- A bachelor's degree. Marketing, communications, education, instructional design, English, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Educator or teacher-facing experience is a plus. So is experience with subscriptions, learning platforms, digital content libraries, or professional learning portfolios.
Why it's interesting
This role has real ownership over a new growth area. You’ll write and shape launches, work with people who know education, and use what learners do and say to influence what Moreland builds next.
