Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You have EE fundamentals and genuinely enjoy test & measurement hardware (oscilloscopes, TDRs, AWGs aren't foreign to you)
  • You thrive translating dense technical specs into clear customer value; you can code in Python/MATLAB but aren't a pure engineer
  • You want to grow into Product Management and are willing to be hands-on for 18-24 months before the step up
  • You're energized by direct customer interaction and seeing your messaging directly influence deal velocity
Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility—this is on-site in upstate NY with unavoidable travel for customer engagement
  • You lack electrical engineering fundamentals; this role demands you understand signal integrity, impedance, and protocol layers
  • You want to move fast with consumer marketing tactics; B2B hardware moves slower and requires deep technical credibility

Interview Process

1

Screening call

Hiring manager validates EE background, familiarity with test equipment, and interest in PM trajectory.

Conversation with regional sales leader or field account manager about customer pain points and enablement gaps.

4

Leadership discussion

Final conversation with broader product or marketing leadership on career goals and fit with team culture.
