What you'll do
Squarespace needs someone to make launches run like a system, not a string of disconnected campaigns. If you can set direction with GMs, then get teams moving around it, this is your kind of seat.
What the role really is
You’ll build the GTM operating playbook across a multi-product portfolio. That means setting the briefs, channel plans, financial assumptions, and feedback loops that help teams make better launch decisions over time.
You’ll lead senior growth marketing managers and be the central GTM partner for business line GMs. The job is strategic, but it only works if you stay close to execution.
What you'll do
- Set market priorities, channel logic, and financial assumptions in launch briefs.
- Establish shared standards for how launches run across the company.
- Shape campaign narratives and creative direction with Brand, PMM, and Creative.
- Align channels and resources around business line goals, making trade-offs where needed.
- Coordinate with international and organic growth teams on global briefs and distribution.
- Work with marketing and media teams to sharpen briefs and measure business impact.
- Bring market, competitor, and customer insights into positioning and GTM plans.
- Build post-launch feedback loops that improve the next brief.
- Use AI tools to shorten planning cycles, synthesize performance data, and test capacity assumptions.
What they want
- 12+ years in growth marketing or GTM, including building global GTM systems from the ground up.
- Experience across B2C consumer marketing and B2B or sales-assisted models.
- A track record with global playbooks and an understanding of regional channels and localization.
- Experience balancing resources across multiple products or business units.
- A builder who can create the process and operating model, not just inherit one.
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to spot gaps and fix them.
- Strategic range: comfortable setting direction with GMs and improving execution across teams.
- The judgment to challenge and redirect senior stakeholders without relying on title.
Why it's interesting
This role gives you a hand in how a broad product portfolio goes to market, from the first brief to what the next launch learns. You’ll work directly with GMs and product leaders, while leading the team that turns the playbook into action.
Squarespace is a platform for building brands and businesses online.

About Growth Marketing roles
Growth marketers drive user acquisition, activation, and retention through data-driven experimentation. They sit at the intersection of product, data, and marketing — running A/B tests, building funnels, and scaling what works.
