What you'll do
About Riffle
Riffle is the operating platform for commercial subcontractors, spanning preconstruction (bid/invite management, estimating), CRM, and project management. We're a funded, seed-stage company with a live product, a growing customer base, and a team that's ready to scale.
Why This Role, Why Now
We have a working product and paying customers. What we don't have yet is a leader who has done this before, someone who's taken a B2B SaaS company from first dollars of revenue through $1M+ ARR and knows which growth levers matter at each stage and which are a distraction.
This is our first growth leadership hire. You won't inherit a team or a playbook, you'll build both, starting hands-on and hiring as the number justifies it. You'll own how subcontractors discover Riffle, how trial users convert to paying customers, and the demand engine that fills the funnel for both self-serve and our AE-led pipeline. As we scale past $1M ARR, this role scales into a VP/growth leadership seat with a team underneath it.
What You'll Do
- Demand generation. Build the repeatable engine that fills the funnel for both self-serve trials and our AE-led pipeline: SEO/AEO and content in the language commercial subs actually search, paid acquisition, and partnership/ecosystem channels, including our Q4 QuickBooks App Store launch and manufacturer/distributor integrations as marketing surfaces, not just product features.
- Pilot-to-paid conversion and revenue growth (your headline metric). You'll own the full funnel from first touch to paid conversion, onboarding, in-product activation, lifecycle messaging, and pricing/packaging experiments, with a direct line to ARR.
- Freemium launch (near-horizon). We're in early design on a freemium product, a top-of-funnel wedge to bring more subs into the ecosystem. You'll shape its go-to-market and own the launch.
- Team and function build. Start hands-on-keyboard; hire and manage as volume and ARR justify it. You'll define the growth org's shape, who we need next and when, and bring in specialists rather than trying to be one yourself once the team exists.
- Positioning & messaging. Own the vertical story and the multi-product narrative (preconstruction → CRM → PM → accounting) so a commercial sub instantly gets why Riffle is built for them.
- Measurement and forecasting. Own the funnel end-to-end in HubSpot, GA and other instrumentation. Know CAC, LTV, and conversion by channel, and build the forecasting discipline a board and investors expect from a company scaling past $1M ARR.
Who You Are
- You've personally taken a B2B SaaS company from ~$0 to $1M+ ARR, as a growth/marketing leader, not a bystander watching it happen. You know what that arc actually feels like: scrappy and hands-on early, then increasingly systematic as the funnel firms up.
- 7-12+ years in B2B SaaS growth or marketing, with real time spent at seed/Series A stage, ideally including at least one stretch as the most senior growth/marketing person in the building.
- You've personally owned an enterprise funnel end to end, not just handed leads to sales, and can talk fluently about CAC, LTV, activation rate, and payback period for your own numbers, not textbook definitions.
- Genuinely full-stack at the start: you can write copy, build an email flow, stand up SEO, run a paid test, and read the analytics yourself, even though the job is to eventually hire people better than you at each of those.
- Fluent in HubSpot (or a comparable stack) and comfortable instrumenting a funnel from scratch.
- You've hired, managed, or plan to hire a small growth team, you can point to how you decided who to bring on and when.
- You thrive in ambiguity, default to shipping, and are comfortable being both the strategist and the person who executes for a while.
- You continue to learn and adopt new AI tools and capabilities to scale yourself and your function.
Nice to Have
- Experience in construction, a vertical SaaS product, or selling to SMBs.
- You've grown a company alongside a founder-led + AE-assisted sales motion.
- You've helped design and support wedges and PLG motions.
- You've built and later handed off a growth function to a team you hired, you know what "good" looks like on the other side of $1M ARR, not just how to get there.
What We Offer
- The chance to own and eventually lead a growth function from the ground up, at the stage where the decisions you make now compound the most.
- Direct partnership with the founder and a short path from idea to shipped.

About Growth Marketing roles
Growth marketers drive user acquisition, activation, and retention through data-driven experimentation. They sit at the intersection of product, data, and marketing — running A/B tests, building funnels, and scaling what works.
