What you'll do
MongoDB needs a senior marketer who can turn global account plans into programs that move India’s most important enterprise accounts. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with sales and marketing peers across regions, and your work will be judged by its impact on pipeline and account goals.
What the role really is
This is strategic account marketing with real sales pressure. You’ll build tailored 1:1 and 1:few plans for global accounts with developer teams in India, then get the right people engaged and the programs shipped. The hard part is earning trust with sales teams while coordinating a broad cast of global and local partners.
What you'll do
- Build account specific plans and messaging around each account’s challenges, decision process, and key personas.
- Partner with sales, strategic account marketers, developer advocacy, and customers to run developer relations marketing programs.
- Advise sales teams and clients on programs that fit their goals and needs.
- Coordinate with field, partner, customer, and demand generation marketing to bring account plans together.
- Equip sales with relevant resources, align on goals, and keep teams informed about global, regional, and account programs.
- Track program performance and return on investment, then use the results to improve account based campaigns.
- Build relationships with account teams, learn account priorities and MongoDB products, and ramp into owning account objectives.
What they want
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 12 or more years in tech account marketing, field marketing, industry marketing, or sales.
- A record of planning and executing programs for large, complex global enterprise accounts across multiple industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and automotive retail.
- Experience with 1:1 or 1:few account based marketing using digital and in person tactics.
- Experience working with cloud, ISV, AI, and other technology partners.
- Strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills with sales and marketing leaders and customers.
- Excellent event and project management, with the ability to solve problems quickly.
- Strong analytical judgment, including measuring results, making data informed decisions, and reporting insights.
- Interest in learning how AI tools and processes can support daily work.
- Experience working with enterprise sales, customer success, and account development teams, and credibility with sales partners.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and marketing tools such as 6sense, Eloqua, Pathfactory, Sigma, or Tableau.
- A self directed, entrepreneurial approach, with strong prioritization, organization, and time management.
- Experience working with global teams and APAC markets, including India, Vietnam, Thailand, and China.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Why it's interesting
You’ll work on accounts that matter to MongoDB’s growth, with a mandate spanning developer engagement, senior stakeholders, and sales goals. The role gives you a direct line to account outcomes and close working relationships with teams across India, EMEA, and the Americas.
