What you'll do
Dropbox needs a regional marketer who can turn APJ sales priorities into pipeline. This job owns both field and channel marketing, with the biggest focus on Australia/New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, India, and Japan.
What the role really is
You’ll set the APJ marketing plan and make it work market by market. That means partnering closely with regional sales leadership, building partner programs alongside direct marketing, and translating global campaigns for local buyers.
You’ll also lead the Japan Marketing team and bring customer, partner, and market insight from APJ into global planning. Expect to move between strategy, people leadership, and campaign execution.
What you'll do
- Build and run the integrated field and channel marketing strategy for APJ.
- Partner with regional and country sales leaders on plans that create qualified pipeline and move priority opportunities forward.
- Run field events, executive experiences, account-based initiatives, campaigns, partner activations, webinars, and other locally relevant programs.
- Balance direct and partner-led investment based on market needs, sales priorities, partner opportunities, and performance.
- Coach and develop the Japan Marketing team, setting goals and clear operating rhythms.
- Build joint plans and co-marketing programs with priority partners.
- Adapt Dropbox’s global campaigns, positioning, and content for regional audiences.
- Manage the regional budget, vendors, agencies, program calendar, forecasts, and performance reporting.
- Set KPIs and review marketing’s contribution to pipeline and opportunity progress with Sales and Marketing Operations.
- Share APJ market intelligence, customer and partner feedback, and regional practices with global marketing teams.
- Build a regional playbook that accounts for each country’s needs, culture, routes to market, and buying behavior.
- Travel within APJ and internationally as needed, approximately 20%.
What they want
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, including regional, field, demand generation, or channel marketing in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology.
- Experience building multi-country APJ marketing strategies with measurable pipeline and sales impact.
- Experience managing and developing marketers across countries, cultures, or time zones.
- A track record of partnering with senior sales leaders and turning sales priorities into marketing plans.
- Experience across field and channel programs, including events, account-based marketing, partner co-marketing, campaigns, and pipeline acceleration.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, including regional budget ownership, KPI setting, and using performance data to guide investment.
- Clear executive communication and the ability to lead across teams in a global, distributed organization.
- Familiarity with APJ technology markets, especially several of Dropbox’s Tier 1 markets.
- Experience with partner-led go-to-market models, regional marketing operations or playbooks, enterprise buying journeys, or distributed global teams.
Why it's interesting
Field and channel marketing carry equal weight here. You’ll shape how Dropbox reaches buyers and partners across a varied region, while directly connecting marketing activity to pipeline and sales priorities.
