Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've built GTM strategies and partnerships in B2B2C or platform ecosystems (SaaS, APIs, developer networks, marketplaces)
  • You can talk fluently with both technical founders AND non-technical biotech executives about drug discovery workflows
  • You thrive on ground truth: you'll attend conferences, visit labs, take calls with 20 prospects a week to understand real pain
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity in year one and can build repeatable processes (onboarding, partner qualification) from zero
  • You measure everything: activation funnels, NPS, contributor quality, and can justify spend against these metrics
Won't Work If
  • You expect a defined playbook—this is blue-sky ecosystem building with minimal playbook at start
  • You're purely a marketing person who doesn't do BD, partnership negotiation, or customer conversations
  • You have zero biotech/pharma or life sciences domain knowledge and don't want to learn it quickly
  • You need fully remote work or flexibility—this is on-site in SF with frequent travel to conferences and partner visits

Interview Process

1

Screening call

30 min with recruiting or hiring manager covering background, motivation, platform/ecosystem experience

2

Case study discussion

Walk through a past GTM or partnership program you built—user activation, metrics, challenges, learnings

3

Biotech domain deep dive

Interview with product or scientific lead exploring your knowledge of drug discovery, biotech funding, pain points

4

Founder/partner conversation

Mock call or roleplay with hiring manager acting as a biotech founder evaluating TuneLab—show your discovery and positioning skills

5

Final round

Full loop with Catalyze360 leadership; discuss vision, 90-day plan, and alignment on ecosystem building philosophy
