The Challenge

BioMarin is a global biotech leader translating genetic discoveries into life-changing medicines. You'll own the enterprise CRM strategy that drives engagement across HCPs and patients worldwide-shaping how three therapeutic areas connect with their markets.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current CRM stack and identify gaps across Skeletal Conditions, Roctavian, and Enzyme Therapies therapeutic areas

Establish CRM governance framework and stakeholder alignment meetings with Business Units, Commercial IT, and Insights teams

3

Define prioritized CRM roadmap for next 18 months with clear business case and resource requirements

4

Develop CRM capability baseline metrics and establish tracking dashboard for adoption and engagement KPIs

By 6 Months
1

Launch first wave of CRM initiatives with 2+ therapeutic areas achieving defined adoption targets (>70% user engagement)

Implement advanced segmentation and closed-loop measurement framework across HCP and patient channels

3

Establish omnichannel integration standards and execute 2+ platform connections (marketing automation, analytics, sales tools)

4

Conduct CRM effectiveness audit; demonstrate measurable lift in customer engagement or conversion metrics

KPIs You'll Own

CRM User Adoption Rate

Percentage of HCPs and internal teams actively using CRM across therapeutic areas; target >75% within 6 months.

Campaign Performance Uplift

Lift in engagement rates, conversion rates, or HCP interaction metrics post-CRM optimization vs. baseline.

CRM System Uptime & Data Quality

System availability (>99.5%) and data accuracy scores; foundational health metric for strategy execution.

Closed-Loop Attribution Score

Percentage of campaigns with complete customer journey tracking from touchpoint to outcome.

Business Unit Satisfaction & ROI

Quarterly stakeholder NPS and quantified business impact (lead quality, sales velocity, or market reach).
