The Challenge

SBH Fashion is scaling their brand presence and needs a strategic leader to drive integrated campaigns across creative, social, PR, and partnerships. You'll step in as the senior marketing leader during a critical growth phase, reporting directly to the Head of Brand.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Establish clear campaign planning rhythm and cross-functional workflows between brand, performance, product, and operations teams

Audit current brand messaging and campaign execution across all touchpoints; identify 3-5 quick wins for consistency and impact

Build relationships with senior managers on the brand team; establish mentoring cadence and performance expectations

4

Map Q1-Q2 seasonal and campaign calendar; align creative, social, PR, and partnership initiatives around key sales moments

By 6 Months
1

Launch 2-3 integrated tentpole campaigns demonstrating brand-performance alignment with measurable lift in brand health metrics

Scale brand team processes and planning frameworks; reduce time-to-campaign by 20% through operational improvements

3

Develop and execute brand growth strategy identifying 2-3 new channels or audience segments to expand reach and cultural relevance

4

Mentor and elevate performance of direct reports; identify promotion candidates and skill gaps; demonstrate 15%+ improvement in team engagement

KPIs You'll Own

Campaign Launch Velocity

Reduce average time from brief to launch across integrated campaigns.

Brand Health Lift

Track awareness, consideration, and preference metrics across core audience segments quarter-over-quarter.

Cross-Functional Alignment Score

Measure on-time delivery and stakeholder satisfaction on integrated campaigns via post-campaign surveys.

Team Retention & Development

Track internal promotion rate, retention of direct reports, and 360 feedback improvement.

Campaign ROI

Correlate brand campaign spend to attributed revenue lift in partnership with performance marketing.

  • You've led brand marketing teams at 8-12+ year career level and thrive owning both strategy and execution
  • You've built campaigns for DTC, premium, or lifestyle brands and can speak fluently about brand consistency across channels
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and can operate as a strategic partner when leadership is transitioning
  • You love cross-functional collaboration and can orchestrate alignment between creative, performance, product, and ops
Won't Work If
  • You need hands-on creative work; this role is about leadership, strategy, and operational excellence, not designing assets
  • You prefer purely strategic work without accountability for execution and timelines
  • You can't commit to on-site work in NYC; flexibility isn't on the table for this role
