John Varvatos is scaling its digital presence across a global brand with rock n roll DNA. You'll own the performance marketing engine driving ecommerce revenue while partnering with a London-based leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders in one of retail's most competitive verticals.
Your Mission
Audit current paid search, Meta, and programmatic campaigns; identify quick wins to improve ROAS by 15-20%
Establish weekly reporting cadence with stakeholders showing trading ROI, media spend efficiency, and KPI trends
Launch 2-3 A/B testing cycles on audience targeting, creative refresh, and bid strategies across Google Ads and Meta
Map affiliate and partner ecosystem; build 3-5 active relationships with performance-aligned partners
Deliver sustainable 25%+ improvement in customer acquisition cost (CAC) vs. baseline through optimized bidding and targeting
Own full-funnel performance roadmap: align paid search, social, email, and display budgets against ecommerce trading calendar
Implement advanced analytics dashboards tracking CTR, conversion rate, AOV, and ROAS by channel and cohort
Scale top-performing campaigns while sunsetting underperformers; grow overall digital media ROI by 30%+

Revenue generated per dollar spent on paid campaigns; primary north star for budget allocation and channel performance.
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Average cost to acquire a new customer; optimized through targeting refinement and bid strategy tuning.

Percentage of impressions resulting in clicks; indicates ad relevance and creative quality.
Conversion Rate
Percentage of clicks converting to purchases; direct measure of campaign effectiveness and landing page quality.
Media ROI (Trading ROI)
