The Challenge
YURI & NEIL is a 120-person digital marketing agency hunting for an SEO Team Leader who can wrangle 5-7 consultants while owning strategic client relationships. You'll balance people development with hands-on work on complex, high-volume SEO projects for enterprise brands.
Your Mission
Establish weekly 1-on-1 cadence with all 5-7 team members, assess skill gaps, and create individual development plans
Own 2-3 strategic client accounts end-to-end, deliver initial strategy recommendations backed by competitive analysis (Ahrefs, SEMRush)
Audit current team workflows and quality standards, document process gaps, propose 2-3 quick wins to improve delivery consistency
Participate in 2-3 RFP responses as SEO strategist, contributing technical recommendations for enterprise/international scope deals
Develop and run 1 internal SEO training initiative across the SEO pod (technical SEO, JS, enterprise site audits)
Grow your portfolio of strategic clients by 20%, including securing at least one new international or high-complexity project win
Build a promotion pipeline: identify 1-2 junior consultants for senior advancement, document their growth trajectory
Lead quarterly pod reviews with Head of SEO and peer managers on process improvements, innovation initiatives, and team composition

Is This Role For You?
- You have 5+ years of SEO agency experience and genuinely enjoy building people, not just managing tasks
- You thrive on complex, multi-market SEO challenges (JS frameworks, 100K+ page sites, international expansion)
- You're fluent in English and speak at least one other language, with excellent written and verbal communication
- You balance hands-on client work with people leadership—you don't want to stop doing SEO, you want to amplify it through a team
- You're looking for pure people leadership—you'll spend 40% of your time on strategic client projects yourself
- You lack agency experience managing complex, enterprise-scale SEO or haven't worked with international/high-volume portfolios
- You don't care about mentoring juniors or lack the patience to develop consultants from mid-level to senior
- Your French is weak or you're resistant to hybrid work (minimum expectation: Levallois-Perret 3 days/week)
