Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed $1M+ in Amazon Ads spend across Sponsored Ads and DSP with hands-on optimization experience
  • You're fluent in retail media (Amazon, Walmart, Target platforms) and understand each retailer's algorithms and nuances
  • You love data-driven decision making and can translate ROAS/CAC into strategic recommendations
  • You thrive in lean, fast-paced environments where you own outcomes and work cross-functionally
  • You're curious about SEO optimization in e-commerce and can balance paid and organic strategies
Won't Work If
  • You've only managed Google Ads or Facebook campaigns; deep Amazon DSP experience is table stakes here
  • You prefer strategic 'big picture' work over hands-on campaign management and daily optimization
  • You require hybrid/remote flexibility; this role is on-site in NYC
  • You don't have 3+ years of direct performance marketing experience with measurable ROI ownership

Interview Process

Initial Screening

Phone call with recruiter or hiring manager; validate Amazon Ads experience depth and interest in retail media growth

2

Performance Deep Dive

Technical interview reviewing your past campaigns, ROAS improvements, and how you diagnosed/fixed underperforming accounts

3

Case Study / Strategy Presentation

Develop a 30-day performance marketing strategy for Polaroid across one retail partner (likely Amazon or Walmart); present findings

4

GM / Cross-functional Panel

Meet with General Manager Americas and key stakeholders (e-commerce, analytics) to assess alignment and collaboration fit
