The Challenge
TapTap Send is a $300M+ backed cross-border fintech transforming how diaspora communities send money home. You'll own growth strategy across Brazil, Mexico, Central America, and the Andean Region—building from the ground up in underserved markets.
Your Mission
Launch customer research program with 50+ transfer senders across 3 LATAM markets to identify core pain points and acquisition channels
Establish partnerships with 5-8 community associations, churches, and local organizations to build trust and distribution
Execute 2-3 pilot offline/online campaigns (paid ads, events, ambassador recruitment) and measure CAC by channel
Set up CRM infrastructure and establish baseline operational metrics (conversion rates, retention, unit economics by corridor)
Scale proven acquisition channels to 3x customer base in assigned markets with unit economics breaking even or positive
Build network of 15-20 active community ambassadors and influencers driving organic word-of-mouth growth
Reduce customer acquisition cost by 25% through optimization and partnership leverage
Deliver quarterly deep-dive analysis on LATAM corridor performance with product/ops recommendations for top 3 customer friction points

Monthly Active Users (MAU) & Growth Rate
Total active users in LATAM corridor with month-over-month growth percentage.
Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
Total transaction value per customer over relationship lifetime vs. CAC ratio.
Retention Rate (30/90 day)
Percentage of users making repeat transfers within 30 and 90 days post-first transaction.
Partnership Pipeline Value
Projected volume and revenue from active community and organizational partnerships.
Campaign ROI
Return on investment for paid advertising and event spend by campaign and corridor.

Is This Role For You?
- You have deep networks and fluency in LATAM diaspora communities (Brazil, Mexico, Central America, Andean Region)
- You're equally comfortable with data and creative hacks—you test hypotheses, measure relentlessly, and iterate fast
- You thrive in ambiguity and can build strategy, partnerships, and campaigns from zero in underserved markets
- You have 3-5 years of growth marketing or business development experience in emerging markets, fintech, or consumer acquisition
- You speak Spanish fluently and have on-the-ground LATAM relationships or lived experience
- You need a fully remote setup—this role requires on-site presence in Mexico City and regular travel within LATAM
- You're looking for a pure marketing role—this blends growth, partnerships, customer research, and operations
- You lack Spanish fluency or don't have authentic connections to LATAM communities—trust-building is core to the role
