Job Description
Your opportunity
Kering has developed a Marketing effectiveness framework, primarily focused on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), which you will be responsible for developing and accelerating further. You will be embedded in the Group Marketing team, reporting to the Media & Marketing Effectiveness Director, and operating at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology.
Lead the vision, roadmap, and deployment of the Group's Marketing effectiveness framework, driving data-informed spend reallocation decisions and demonstrating the business impact of marketing investments on traffic, sales, awareness, and brand desirability across brands, countries, and partners. Own and scale the team's measurement capabilities bringing an agile, fast-cycle, test & learn approach enhanced by AI, and ensuring results are mutualized and integrated into the Group's Marketing dashboard.
How you will contribute
Measurement Vision, Roadmap & Modeling
Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for the Group's Marketing effectiveness framework, ensuring it stays best-in-class and scales effectively across markets and brands.
Define & manage Group tools, KPIs, reporting & dashboarding (includes contracts management, scope, maintenance & evolution, integration & automation within the current measurement framework)
Drive the MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) agenda & team, oversee the development, calibration, and continuous improvement of models, ensuring statistical rigor and business relevance, along with Kering Technology team.
Translate model outputs into clear, actionable spend reallocation recommendations, balancing short-term sales impact with longer-term brand awareness objectives.
Extend modeling coverage beyond core media to CRM, e-commerce and other marketing key strategic areas like Events & Influence.
Scaling, Mutualization & Integration
Consolidate all measurement tools/reporting & drive the mutualization of results across brands and markets, capturing synergies and shared learnings across the Group (MMM, incrementality tests, BLS, A-B tests, PCAs, Ad tests etc).
Ensure all Marketing effectiveness results are properly integrated into the Marketing dashboard, making them a consistent, accessible reference for decision-making across the organization.
Build scalable processes and measurement frameworks that allow the team to serve a growing number of brands, countries, and partners without linear increases in resources.
Lead insight analysis & recommendations derived from the MMM & other measurement studies
Track & measure direct impact of spend reallocations with regular refreshes and effectiveness continuous tests & reportings (implementation of digital incrementality tests, golden rules etc)
Acceleration & Innovation
Lead the transition toward a more agile, faster-cycle modeling approach, reducing time-to-insight without compromising quality.
Identify and implement AI/ML-driven tools and methods to accelerate automation, modeling, scenario simulation, and analysis production.
Business Partnership & C-Level Engagement
Prepare and deliver presentations to C-level stakeholders (CMO, CFO, CDO, GMs etc), framing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Deliver regular and ad hoc analyses on marketing effectiveness for brands, countries, partners, and cross-functional marketing teams (media, CRM, e-commerce, etc.).
Act as a trusted advisor to brand and marketing teams, translating complex model outputs into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Partner with Media, Marketing Performance, and Data teams to ensure consistency and alignment of measurement approaches across the Group, including with other key Marketing functions.
Team Management
Manage and develop the team (Media Effectiveness Manager, data scientists / analysts) fostering technical excellence and a strong business mindset
Set priorities and ways of working that balance rigor, speed, and stakeholder responsiveness.
Foster cross-functional team & project mode ways of working
Who you are
15+ years of experience in Marketing effectiveness, analytics, econometrics, or data science, with significant, hands-on experience in Marketing Mix Modeling
Visionary profile who has already developed sophisticated marketing effectiveness frameworks, led the internalization & scaling of MMM capabilities in another organization, and in a very fast & agile way.
Strong experience in Marketing & Media effectiveness, with solid understanding of performance metrics
Strong influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex quantitative insights into clear, decision-ready narratives that drive results with C-level stakeholders (CMO, CFO, CDO, GM etc).
Proven experience managing and developing cross-functional teams including marketing & technical profiles in a project mode ways of working
Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application to accelerate analytical workflows.
Experience working in a global complex environment (multi-brand, multi-country, with group dynamic ideally)
Fluent English; French & Italian a plus.A
