Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in growth marketing or life-cycle marketing. Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams. Experience integrating AI tools and workflows for marketing processes, campaigns, problem-solving, or team productivity.

Preferred qualifications

5 years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or life-cycle marketing with a focus on consumer subscription products. Strong investigative acumen with experience evaluating multi-stage conversion funnels, metrics, and campaign performance to drive strategy. Expertise in multi-channel acquisition and strategies across O&O web surfaces, in-product touchpoints, CRM, and bundled promotions. Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional stakeholder alignment across matrixed product areas or business units. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with demonstrated success orchestrating executive-level cross-functional forums and driving shared OKRs. About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Google One delivers the best of Google through a variety of subscription plans, including storage and Google AI plans. We are a fluid and dynamic team that is responsible for managing and delivering subscription growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross-product area (xPA) subscription growth for Google AI Subscriptions. As your primary responsibility, you will own and manage the collaborative growth marketing initiatives across Product Areas (PAs) such as Google One, Gemini, Workspace, YouTube, Home and Health, Core/Search, and Labs. You will partner with xPA managers to align growth strategies, optimize high-reach owned-and-operated (O&O) channels (web, in-product, and CRM), and unblock opportunities to generate sign-ups and meet Google's overarching AI subscription goals.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

Coordinate cross-Product Area (PA) marketing campaigns by partnering with xPA managers to execute growth initiatives across O&O channels, including in-product banners, CRM/email triggers, web entry points, and bundle offers.

Manage a monthly xPA AI Subscriptions Growth Steerco and cross-product growth forums, aligning managers across Google One, Workspace, YouTube, and Core on monthly priorities, funnels, and launch roadmaps.

Optimize subscription sign-ups and funnel performance: Improve paid subscriber acquisition across Google AI plans by evaluating funnel metrics, and channel performance. Expand and scale O&O acquisition onramps: Audit, optimize, and launch new entry points across the Google ecosystem to increase conversion efficiency and maximize reach. Execute data-driven growth experiments by partnering with product, engineering, Product Marketing Manager (PMM), and analytics teams to design, launch, and socialize experiments, such as usage limit promotions or winback campaigns.
