Role Overview
Decouvertes DMC Group is seeking a strategic, high-energy VP of Sales & Marketing to drive brand elevation, revenue expansion, and market presence. In this dual executive role, you will lead our overarching marketing vision and business development strategy, strengthening relationships with luxury travel networks, agency partners, and key industry stakeholders.
As a core member of the executive team, you will manage internal teams, represent Decouvertes DMC Group at luxury industry events, and optimize our digital and operational sales engines (HubSpot) to propel market growth and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Stewardship
- *Strategic Planning: *Architect and execute the overarching annual marketing strategy and communications calendar to elevate Decouvertes DMC Group’s market positioning.
- *Content & Asset Oversight: *Audit and elevate all marketing touchpoints, including website content, digital campaigns, printed collateral, email calendars, and email automations, to maintain brand consistency and compelling storytelling.
- *Destination Launches: *Develop and lead comprehensive marketing launch calendars for new destinations, product offerings, and experiential itineraries.
- *Team Leadership: *Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.
2. Business Development, Network & Agency Partnerships
- *Network Visibility: *Maximize Decouvertes DMC Group’s footprint and commercial performance across major luxury consortia and network platforms, including Virtuoso, Internova, Signature Travel Network, and on their community platforms.
- *Agency Engagement & Acquisition: *Expand market share by signing new contracted agency partnerships while deepening engagement and loyalty among existing trade partners.
- *Client Experience & Feedback: *Monitor client retention, conduct regular 1-on-1 feedback sessions with key travel advisors, and ensure Decouvertes DMC Group’s consistently delivers a top-tier brand reputation.
- *Representative Management: *Oversee and coordinate with external trade representatives, ensuring alignment across their respective regional marketing agendas.
3. Trade Shows, Events & Industry Representation
- *Event Logistics & Calendar: *Oversee the yearly industry events calendar, managing all planning, logistics (accommodation, travel), and high-impact presentation materials.
- *Tradeshow Participation: *Act as a key ambassador for Decouvertes DMC Group, representing the group at global tradeshows, industry conferences, and executive community meetings.
- *Webinars & Thought Leadership: *Design, host, and conduct educational webinars for agency partners and clients, serving as both speaker and moderator to onboard new agencies and showcase brand expertise.
- *Executive Collaboration: *Participate actively in executive board meetings, ensuring all sales, business development, and marketing actions are executed on schedule.
4. Sales Operations & Technology
- *CRM Management: *Oversee the organization's HubSpot database, enforcing strict data governance, clean pipeline tracking, and proper utilization across sales and marketing teams.
- *Reporting & Analytics: *Track and analyze key marketing metrics, client engagement data, and partnership performance to continually refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- *Experience: *8+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, trade marketing, or business development within the luxury travel, DMC, or hospitality sector.
- *Consortia Expertise: *Strong existing relationships and deep familiarity with luxury travel networks (Virtuoso, Signature, Internova, etc.).
- *Communication: *Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and moderation skills-comfortable speaking to large virtual audiences and high-level travel advisors alike.
- *Tech Proficiency: *Hands-on experience managing and leveraging CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), marketing automation tools, and email marketing workflows.
- *Leadership: *Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, overseeing budgets, and reporting directly to executive boards.
- *Travel: *Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for trade shows, sales missions, and company events.
Rémunération : 40 000,00€ à 46 000,00€ par an
