The Challenge
AssessFirst is a fast-growing HR Tech disrupting recruitment globally with 3,500+ clients across 40 countries. You'll own all visual content production for a scaling marketing team, translating complex talent prediction solutions into compelling, cohesive brand assets that drive both awareness and sales.
Your Mission
Audit and systemize existing visual assets; establish design templates and brand standards to accelerate production across campaigns, social, and sales collateral
Ship first 3-5 major campaign visual campaigns (social, landing page mockups, sales decks) that ladder into quarterly growth targets
Build relationships with Product and Sales teams to understand their top blockers; deliver 10+ sales enablement assets (one-pagers, use cases, pitch decks)
Set up a content production workflow (tools, review cycles, asset management) to handle parallel workstreams without bottlenecks
Establish design system in Figma with reusable components; reduce design-to-delivery time by 30% on recurring assets
Launch 2-3 video campaigns (product demos, customer stories, animations) with measurable engagement lift vs. static content baseline
Develop and test 5+ social media content formats (carousels, reels, animations); identify top 2-3 that drive highest engagement and CTR
Track design asset performance (time-to-market, stakeholder satisfaction, campaign lift); propose 2-3 process improvements for sprint planning
KPIs You'll Own
Campaign Asset Turnaround Time
Measure days from brief to approved final asset; target 20% reduction every quarter.
Social Content Engagement Rate
Track likes, shares, click-through rate on designed social assets; segment by format (static, carousel, video, animation).
Sales Collateral Utilization
Monitor how many assets Sales uses in opportunities; correlate to win rates and deal velocity.
Design Rework Cycles
Count iterations per project; goal is 1-2 rounds max with clear feedback loops.
Brand Consistency Score
Quarterly audit of assets against brand guidelines; track compliance and flag deviations.

Is This Role For You?
- You have 3+ years hands-on design marketing experience and can own a full visual content pipeline solo
- You're fluent in Figma and have strong fundamentals in hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling for B2B SaaS
- You're comfortable jumping between formats—decks, social, video, print, web mockups—without losing quality or momentum
- You thrive in fast-paced startups where you wear multiple hats and directly influence marketing and sales outcomes
- Video editing/motion design skills are a real plus; you can turn product screenshots into compelling animated demos
- You need a specialist design team around you; this role requires autonomy and breadth across disciplines
- You're uncomfortable with rapid feedback cycles and iterating quickly; this is a lean Marketing team
- Your strength is in UX/UI design for products; this is brand and marketing design with business priorities

Design case study or portfolio deep-dive
Walk through 2-3 campaign projects: brief, constraints, execution, metrics. Focus on your process and decision-making.
Stakeholder interview
Meet with Product or Sales lead to discuss collaboration style and how you'd support their needs.
Offer and trial project
Potential short trial (2-3 days) on a real asset to assess execution quality and fit.
