The Mission
As a CRM Specialist, you’ll:
- Design, build, and maintain CRM automations and workflows that drive lead generation, nurturing, and retention
- Ensure data integrity, hygiene, and consistency across contacts, pipelines, and custom objects
- Integrate CRMs with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Facebook/Meta, Google Ads, webinar platforms, payment gateways) via APIs and webhooks
- Collaborate with developers, paid-media teams, and account managers to align CRM logic with campaign objectives
- Hit the ground running with at least 1 – 2 years’ experience in a CRM platform (HubSpot, Zoho, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, etc.)
- Learn GoHighLevel (GHL) quickly—hands-on GHL experience is a plus, but a solid CRM foundation is essential
- Read and write JSON, understand REST API concepts, and set up webhooks or Zapier or N8N integrations
- Talk to technical and non-technical stakeholders in plain language, translating business requirements into automation specs
- Own end-to-end projects with minimal supervision, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan & Configure: Build pipelines, custom objects, fields, and tagging conventions tailored to each client’s funnel
- Automate & Integrate: Create complex workflows (email/SMS sequences, lead scoring, internal alerts); manage API/webhook connections
- Analyze & Optimize: Audit CRM logs, run A/B tests on nurture flows, and report on key metrics (open rates, MQL to SQL conversion, deal velocity)
- Document & Train: Write SOPs, maintain a shared knowledge base, and train internal teams or clients on CRM best practices
- Troubleshoot & Support: Rapidly diagnose sync errors, fix broken automations, and respond to urgent client requests
- Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar tech discipline—or you have equivalent hands-on experience
- Comfortable with SQL queries, JSON, and basic scripting to transform or enrich data
- A detail-oriented problem solver who can dig into logs, trace webhook payloads, and surface root causes
- A clear communicator, proactive collaborator, and lifelong learner—always curious about new CRM features and marketing technologies
- Onboarding & Audit: Completed full audit of 2 – 3 existing client CRMs, documented critical gaps, and presented improvement plan
- Automation Deployment: Designed and launched at least 5 new high-impact workflows (e.g., lead scoring, cart abandonment, re-engagement) that improve conversion by ≥10%
- Documentation & Training: Built a reusable playbook covering CRM setup, naming conventions, integration patterns, and troubleshooting steps
