You'll own organic and AI-driven search visibility for a firm generating massive lead volume, reporting directly to marketing leadership while managing a team and influencing cross-functional partners.
Your Mission
Audit existing SEO/AEO performance across all 50 state offices and identify top 10 quick wins for organic lead generation uplift
Establish baseline KPIs for organic traffic, lead volume, and cost-per-lead across legal service verticals
Conduct competitive analysis for national and local legal services and translate findings into 90-day content and technical roadmap
Onboard direct reports on team strategy, current initiatives, and performance expectations; build weekly cadence with cross-functional partners
Launch answer engine optimization (AEO) strategy across generative AI platforms with measurable lead attribution
Implement internal linking strategy and site speed improvements across high-value practice area pages
Scale local SEO campaigns across underperforming markets with documented improvements in local pack visibility and lead quality
Deliver quarterly business review showing organic channel contribution to overall lead pipeline and ROI vs. paid channels

Organic Lead Volume (Monthly)
Total qualified leads generated from organic search, local search, and answer engines by practice area.
Cost-Per-Lead (Organic)
Blended cost per organic lead compared to paid acquisition channels to demonstrate channel efficiency.
Organic Traffic & Rankings
Month-over-month organic traffic growth and keyword ranking positions for high-intent legal service queries.
AEO Performance & Attribution
Traffic and lead attribution from answer engines and generative AI platforms; trend against traditional search.
Lead Quality Score
Internal scoring of organic leads by conversion rate, case value, and close rate vs. other channels.
