The Challenge

HappyRobot is building the OS for AI workforces at enterprises-think autonomous agents running real operations across voice, email, and systems. You'll own how we tell that story and drive adoption across a market that barely exists yet.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Ship messaging framework and positioning that differentiates HappyRobot's autonomous decision-making capabilities from competitive agentic AI solutions

2

Create and launch 3-5 feature GTM campaigns (release notes, in-product updates, email sequences, one-pagers) with adoption tracking

3

Build sales enablement kit (competitive battlecards, customer objection responses, discovery questions) for field team to deploy immediately

4

Establish baseline metrics on feature adoption, content engagement, and campaign performance to inform roadmap

By 6 Months
1

Develop 2-3 customer case studies or proof-of-value narratives showcasing real operational impact (efficiency gains, cost savings, automation scale)

2

Own and optimize company newsletter and in-product communication cadence; hit 35%+ open rates and measurable feature adoption lift

3

Scale sales materials library: 5+ vertical/use-case specific positioning decks, FAQs, and technical briefs that close faster deals

4

Partner with product to define and track success metrics for Q3-Q4 feature launches; demonstrate 20%+ adoption within 60 days of release

KPIs You'll Own

Feature Adoption Rate

Percentage of active customers using newly launched capabilities within 30/60 days of release.

Sales Enablement ROI

Win rate and deal velocity improvement for deals where field teams actively used PMM-created materials.

Content Engagement

Email open rates, click-through rates, in-product update interaction, and website feature page conversion.

Launch Velocity

Time from product feature completion to market-ready assets and sales enablement availability.

Brand Message Consistency

Audit score measuring alignment of product storytelling across all channels (sales decks, website, newsletters, support).

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped 4+ feature launches and can translate 'autonomous agentic decision-making' into customer outcomes-not just buzzwords
  • You thrive in ambiguity and own the full lifecycle from messaging through adoption tracking without waiting for direction
  • You geek out on enterprise sales motions and understand how to position technical products for C-suite and ops buyers
  • You've worked at a B2B SaaS startup or scaleup and actually used data to iterate messaging and drive GTM decisions
  • You want to help build a category, not just fill seats at an established player
Won't Work If
  • You need hand-holding or prefer waterfall-planned campaigns; HappyRobot moves fast and expects extreme ownership
  • You're uncomfortable with AI/ML concepts or haven't bothered to understand agentic systems-you'll lose credibility with customers immediately
  • You want a pure content role; this is strategy + execution + measurement, and you need to thrive across all three
  • You can't commit to on-site work in San Francisco-this role needs regular collaboration with product, sales, and founders in person

Interview Process

1

Initial Screening

Hiring manager / Head of Growth call to assess fit, background, and understanding of HappyRobot's market position

2

Case Study / Practical Assignment

You'll likely be asked to analyze a competitive product and propose a positioning/messaging framework, or critique existing HappyRobot messaging

3

Cross-functional Panel

Conversations with Product Lead and Sales leadership to test collaboration, technical understanding, and GTM thinking

4

Founder Conversation

Final round with founder(s) to discuss vision, market narrative, and how you'd shape company positioning
