Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped technical content (blogs, benchmarks, case studies) that moved pipeline-and you tracked the ROI religiously
  • You're obsessed with databases, OLAP semantics, and analytics architecture; you can explain ACID tradeoffs to a CTO and a product manager
  • You balance deep technical credibility with storytelling; you can write a killer demo that makes engineers want to try the product
  • You thrive in fast-growth environments where you own strategy and iteration; you don't wait for perfection before shipping
Won't Work If
  • You're a marketer who avoids technical depth-this role requires SQL fluency and genuine OLAP expertise, not surface-level buzzwords
  • You prefer agency/freelance flexibility-this is on-site, full-time commitment at a hypergrowth company with aggressive shipping timelines
  • You measure success only by vanity metrics (views, followers); ClickHouse cares about lead quality, conversion impact, and competitive wins

Interview Process

1

Recruiter Screen

Verify background in product marketing engineering, technical depth, and portfolio of content you've shipped

2

Hiring Manager Conversation

3

Technical Writing / Portfolio Review

Review 2-3 technical pieces you've authored; discuss technical accuracy, storytelling, and how each piece performed against your KPIs

4

Product & Engineering Collaboration

Round with product and engineering leads to assess ability to extract insight, ask smart questions, and communicate complex concepts clearly

5

Executive Round

Final conversation with leadership to confirm culture fit and vision alignment on ClickHouse's market position
