Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the regional growth strategy across African markets, setting the overarching vision for market prioritisation, channel mix, and investment allocation. You will act as a senior owner of performance marketing direction across all paid and media channels, ensuring coherence between strategy, execution, and business goals. You will also contribute to shaping brand and media initiatives at scale, aligning performance and brand efforts to build long-term market trust and recognition.
Define and own the regional performance marketing strategy and growth roadmap across African markets
Set strategic direction for paid acquisition across channels such as Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, and mobile DSPs
Guide high-level investment allocation and portfolio optimisation across markets and channels
Partner with brand and media teams on large-scale initiatives including ATL, OOH, and partnerships
Influence cross-functional priorities across product, analytics, creative, and marketing teams
Translate complex performance data into strategic insights and actionable growth recommendations
Advise executive leadership on marketing strategy, market opportunities, and investment decisions
Requirements The ideal candidate brings strong experience in performance marketing or user acquisition, with a proven ability to operate at a strategic, leadership level. You should be highly analytical, capable of turning complex data into clear strategic direction, and confident working across multiple markets and stakeholders. A strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, attribution models, and paid media platforms is essential, along with experience in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
5+ years of experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, or digital growth roles
Strong expertise in major paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, DSPs)
Advanced analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and guide strategic decisions
Solid understanding of funnels, attribution models, and digital marketing fundamentals
Experience working in fast-scaling, data-driven, or international environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level exposure
Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar platforms is a plus
Additional language skills (French or Portuguese) are an advantage
