The Challenge
Pigment is building the next generation of financial planning software for mid-market companies. You'll own the entire martech stack—from campaign execution to pipeline orchestration—scaling marketing operations as the company grows from 201-500 to enterprise scale.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize current martech stack; identify redundancies and gaps in lead routing, attribution, and CRM hygiene
Establish baseline metrics on campaign performance, pipeline velocity, and marketing-to-sales handoff quality
Build first iteration of marketing operations playbook (lead scoring, SLA definitions, monthly reporting cadence)
Implement or refine Salesforce-to-marketing automation workflow to reduce manual data entry and improve lead quality
Scale martech infrastructure to support 50%+ increase in campaign volume without adding headcount
Reduce lead-to-MQL time by 25% through improved nurture workflows and segmentation
Achieve 85%+ data quality score across CRM and marketing platforms
Design and execute quarterly business reviews with sales leadership tied to revenue impact metrics
KPIs You'll Own
Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) Volume & Quality
Track MQL volume month-over-month and win rate by source to validate marketing's contribution to pipeline.
Lead Velocity & Conversion Rates
Measure time from lead capture to first sales touch and MQL-to-SQL conversion to optimize the funnel.
Pipeline Influenced Revenue
Calculate total revenue touched by marketing campaigns and attribute by channel to justify marketing spend.
Martech Stack Utilization & Cost per Lead
Monitor tool adoption rates and cost-per-MQL across platforms to ensure ROI on martech investments.

- You thrive setting up processes and dashboards that give leadership visibility into marketing's business impact
- You're energized by problem-solving: identifying tool gaps, eliminating manual workflows, and pushing for integration
- You expect to hire a large team immediately—this is a lean ops role focused on tooling and process, not people management
- You're uncomfortable with ambiguity; Pigment is still defining martech standards, so you'll be building from blueprints, not templates
