The Sage Group is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead for our client, whose mission is to help people build credit and unlock better financial access through responsible, transparent, and empowering products. We're focused on acquiring high-caliber users, individuals intentional about improving their credit and engaging deeply with our product to build lasting financial strength.
We are currently in the high-growth, high-iteration phase; we haven't reached full Product-Market Fit (PMF) yet, but we are moving toward it with significant momentum.
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptionally execution-focused Full-Stack Growth Lead to act as a fractional partner. You aren’t here to simply "manage a project"; you are here to partner with leadership to own outcomes, run experiments with velocity, and bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on growth.
Responsibilities
- High-Intent Acquisition Channels: Own and optimize performance from existing high-intent partners (e.g., NerdWallet, Klover) while sourcing and activating new affiliate and fintech partnerships through disciplined follow-up and deal execution.
- Referral & Advocacy Engine: Design, launch, and scale referral loops that convert Neu’s most engaged early users into repeat advocates and organic acquisition drivers.
- Pre-Approved Direct Mail (DM): Launch and iterate offline pre-approved direct mail campaigns, partnering closely with compliance and underwriting to optimize response rate, CAC, and downstream activation.
- Search & Demand Capture (SEO / SEM / GEO): Strengthen our organic search foundation while testing paid search and geo-based intent strategies to efficiently capture in-market demand at target CAC.
- Lead Content & Demand Creation: Develop and test high-leverage content that educates, qualifies, and converts users across the funnel, with a focus on intent creation and trust building.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Own experimentation across landing pages, onboarding flows, and key funnel moments to continuously improve conversion, activation, and early retention.
- (180 + days) Retargeting Framework: Stand up a multi-channel retargeting infrastructure to capture and convert engaged audiences.
- Brand Authority: Help us expand our footprint thoughtfully while maintaining the quality and intentionality that defines our user base.
Qualifications
- Growth Marketing / Demand Generation: 4+ years’ experience in growth marketing and demand gen with product-led growth.
- Data & Analytics Mastery: You understand the data, plumbing and experimentation mechanics to instrument, analyze and optimize campaigns. You understand how to map the customer journey and identify exactly where the "leaky bucket" is. We are using GA right now but agnostic of tooling experience.
- Creative Channel Unlocks: You have a proven "sense" for high-intent, low-noise channels. You know how to unlock communities on Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok by being native and authentic, not just "buying ads."
- Relentless Persistence: You don't just "source" partners; you close them. You have the perseverance for high-frequency follow-ups to get deals signed and the technical focus to audit a tracking setup.
- Growth Mechanics: Expert knowledge of viral loops, A/B testing, and attribution models.
Required Skills
- Fintech Experience: Previous success in a high-growth fintech environment, understanding the balance between aggressive acquisition and regulatory/compliance constraints.
- Segment Familiarity: Student, Immigrant, or Subprime financial landscapes.
- Direct Mail Experience: Prior success scaling DM.
Pay range and compensation package
Pay: $70/hr
Duration: 6 months, could extend or convert
