Sales & Growth Manager (Lead Gen, Bidding & Revenue) | Commission + Equity Location: Remote (U.S. preferred) Compensation: Commission-Based (High Upside) + Equity Opportunity About ScaleUp ScaleUp is a fast-growing software development agency building: • Mobile apps • SaaS platforms • AI-powered products • Marketplaces & custom systems We’ve delivered 100+ projects and are now focused on aggressively scaling lead generation and revenue. The Role We’re looking for a high-level sales & growth operator to work directly with the CEO. This is not a typical sales role. 👉 You will own lead generation, bidding, and revenue growth 👉 You will help build and scale our entire sales engine 👉 You will have the opportunity to build and lead the sales team long-term This is a high-ownership, builder role for someone who wants to go beyond just selling—and actually create a scalable revenue machine. What You’ll Own 1. Bidding & Platform Growth • Own and scale platforms like: • Upwork • Freelancer • Job boards & marketplaces • Write, test, and optimize proposals that convert • Continuously improve win rates and positioning 2. Lead Generation (Outbound + Creative Channels) • Cold email campaigns • LinkedIn outreach • Cold calling (optional but valuable) • Identify and test new lead acquisition channels 3. Pipeline & Revenue Growth • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities • Book and support high-quality calls • Work alongside the CEO to improve close rates 4. Sales Process & Conversion Optimization • Improve: • Messaging • Proposals • Sales workflows • Collaborate with technical team to better position offerings 5. Growth, Systems & Scale • Identify bottlenecks in lead generation and sales • Implement tools, automations, and scalable systems • Work with technical team on: • SEO opportunities • AI-driven lead generation (AIO) • Recommend and help hire additional team members as needed 👉 Over time, you will build, manage, and lead the sales team Compensation TThis role is commission-based with strong upside and long-term alignment. Commission Structure 8% – 12% commission on all closed deals Commission tier increases based on performance and deal volume Performance Bonuses Additional bonuses available for: Hitting monthly / quarterly revenue targets Consistent pipeline generation High-quality deal flow and close rates 👉 Earnings are directly tied to revenue — no ceiling on income Equity Opportunity High performers will have the opportunity to earn equity and grow into a long-term leadership role Why This Role Is Different • Direct access to CEO • Real ownership over revenue growth • Freedom to test ideas, channels, and systems • Ability to build and lead your own team • Clear path toward leadership and equity Who This Is Perfect For You are: • Strong in lead generation, outbound, or bidding • Experienced with Upwork or similar platforms (big plus) • Comfortable in a commission-driven environment • Entrepreneurial and proactive • Interested in building systems, not just executing tasks • Familiar with software / SaaS / app development (preferred) Who This Is NOT For • You want a fixed salary with low performance expectations • You prefer account management or support roles • You don’t enjoy outbound or lead generation • You need heavy structure or micromanagement What Success Looks Like • Consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities • Strong proposal win rates • Expansion into new acquisition channels • Measurable growth in revenue How to Apply Send: • A short intro • Your experience with lead generation / bidding • Results you’ve achieved (pipeline, revenue, deals, etc.) • (Optional but powerful) Example of: • A proposal you’d send • A cold outreach message
