The Challenge
NeueHealth is transforming healthcare by aligning patient, provider, and payor interests through value-based care models. You'll lead the charge to recruit independent primary care practices into their affiliate network across Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Marketplace-scaling their provider footprint across new and existing markets.
Your Mission
Map competitive landscape and identify top 20-30 high-potential provider markets for initial recruitment focus across Medicare ACO, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and ACA segments
Establish 50+ qualified provider prospects in pipeline with documented interest and initial engagement milestones
Develop and execute first regional growth strategy with clear recruitment targets, timeline, and success metrics for Q2 launch
Onboard and train affiliate growth team with playbooks, CRM processes, and deal-structuring frameworks
Recruit and close 8-12 independent primary care practices into NeueHealth's affiliate network, hitting year-one revenue targets
Build predictable provider recruitment pipeline generating 100+ qualified prospects monthly with 15%+ conversion rate
Launch provider value proposition messaging and case studies demonstrating clinical, operational, and financial benefits of affiliation
Establish market expansion roadmap for next 12 months with geographic priorities, competitive positioning, and resource allocation

Number of independent practices recruited and contracted per quarter against annual target.
Pipeline Coverage Ratio
Qualified prospects in pipeline divided by quarterly recruitment target (aim for 3:1 minimum).
Deal Closure Time
Average days from initial provider outreach to signed contract execution.
Revenue Impact
Total value-based contract value and attributed patient lives from newly recruited provider affiliates.
Market Penetration
Percentage of independent primary care practices in target markets now affiliated with NeueHealth.

- You've built and scaled healthcare provider networks or managed B2B healthcare business development with measurable recruitment success
- You speak fluent healthcare-you understand value-based care models, ACOs, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and payor relationships without needing a translator
- You're a relationship closer who can move deals from prospect to signed contract, and you're energized by direct provider engagement and complex negotiations
- You thrive leading teams, developing talent, and turning ambitious growth targets into repeatable recruiting playbooks
- You're based in or willing to relocate to South Florida (Doral) for in-office presence 2 days/week
- You've only worked in pharmaceutical or medical device sales-healthcare operations and value-based contracting are unfamiliar territory
- You prefer full remote work; this role requires regular on-site presence in Doral and in-person provider meetings across regions
- You're risk-averse; this role demands hunting for new market opportunities and taking calculated risks on emerging provider partnerships
- You lack experience managing and mentoring teams or scaling repeatable business development processes

Recruiter call (30 min) on healthcare BD background, provider recruitment experience, and market knowledge
Business Development Assessment
Call with VP, Business Development (45 min) on strategy, market analysis, and past affiliate/provider growth initiatives
Case Study / Scenario Deep-dive
Present your approach to recruiting independent practices in a new market; discuss deal structuring and competitive positioning
Leadership & Team Interview
Meeting with leadership team member(s) to discuss team building, culture fit, and vision for affiliate network expansion
Executive Close
Final conversation with VP or C-level leader to align on expectations, growth targets, and resource support
