As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Head of Growth to lead the next phase of customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion across channels.


The Role

We’re looking for an analytical, operator-minded Head of Growth & Retention who knows how to scale revenue efficiently while building a durable growth engine.


The Head of Growth will own the full DTC demand engine at Native Pet, spanning paid media, lifecycle/CRM, affiliate, and performance influencer performance, with full accountability for the DTC P&L.


In addition, this role will play a critical role in shaping how paid media drives impact beyond DTC, helping unlock halo effects across Amazon, Wholesale, and TikTok Shop. This includes identifying how upper and mid-funnel investment, creative strategy, and channel mix can drive incremental demand across the broader business, not just last-click DTC performance.


This leader will be deeply accountable to the numbers, owning forecasting, channel mix, CAC targets, and payback periods, while also identifying new levers and opportunities to unlock growth.


What You’ll Do

Own the Growth Strategy, P&L & Channel Mix

  • Own the end-to-end DTC growth strategy, with accountability for revenue, CAC, LTV, and contribution margin after marketing.
  • Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and channel mix to hit growth targets.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and adjust investment based on efficiency and incrementality.
  • Identify and quantify cross-channel halo effects, ensuring paid media supports growth across Amazon and wholesale, not just DTC.


Scale DTC Acquisition and Drive Full Funnel Performance

  • Own all DTC paid acquisition channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimize creative, targeting, and budget allocation to maximize incremental growth.
  • Balance direct response efficiency with broader demand creation that drives downstream impact across channels.
  • Own site marketing, landing pages, and offer strategy to improve funnel performance across KPIs like CVR and AOV.


Drive Retention & LTV Expansion

  • Own lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, and subscription programs.
  • Improve retention, repeat purchase, and subscription attach rates through testing and segmentation.
  • Ensure a cohesive, high-performing customer journey from first purchase through repeat behavior.


Build New Growth Levers and Measurement Rigor

  • Develop and scale affiliate, influencer performance, and partnership-driven revenue channels.
  • Test and operationalize new growth opportunities across platforms and channels.
  • Define and track core KPIs (CAC, MER, LTV, payback, incrementality).
  • Leverage tools to measure cross-channel impact (e.g., paid media driving Amazon demand, branded search, and retail velocity) and make budget optimization decisions accordingly.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8–12+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or demand generation within high-growth consumer brands
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue while maintaining strong unit economics
  • Deep expertise across paid media, lifecycle/CRM, and funnel optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and experience owning forecasts, budgets, and P&L metrics
  • Experience measuring incrementality and cross-channel impact (e.g., DTC media driving Amazon or retail performance) strongly preferred
  • Experience managing agencies and/or in-house teams
