What you'll do

We are working with a growing organization looking to add a Customer Marketing Manager to their team. This role will serve as a key connector between internal sales and marketing teams and external partners, helping ensure marketing investments are planned thoughtfully, executed consistently, and tied to measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of program management, partner collaboration, and data‑driven marketing experience.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building structure where processes may be evolving, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams, and helping external partners maximize the impact of their marketing programs.


This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in office in the South Charlotte area. It offers a base compensation and bonus package.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day operations of partner marketing programs, including planning cycles, guidelines, submissions, approvals, and ongoing coordination
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between internal teams and external partners to support campaign execution and ensure alignment with brand standards
  • Guide partners in developing annual marketing plans and campaigns across channels such as digital, social, and events
  • Ensure messaging consistency and best practices across all partner‑led marketing initiatives
  • Align partner marketing investments with broader business objectives to drive efficiency and performance
  • Track program spend, performance, and ROI, and provide insights to optimize future campaigns
  • Educate and enable partners on how to effectively access, use, and maximize available marketing funds
  • Partner closely with sales teams to ensure alignment and strong engagement across shared initiatives
  • Maintain program documentation and support compliance with guidelines, budgets, and governance requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and outside agencies


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, customer marketing, or marketing program management
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience managing complex marketing programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Experience developing, managing, and tracking marketing budgets
  • Comfort working in structured corporate environments while still pushing for new ideas and improvements
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring marketing performance and ROI
  • Familiarity with compliance, governance, and approvals within partner or distributed marketing models
  • Experience with co‑op, franchise, or shared‑fund marketing programs
