The Challenge
Joyful Health is fixing a $125B problem: healthcare practices hemorrhaging revenue through broken payment systems. You'll build their entire growth engine from scratch with proven investors (MongoDB, KAYAK founders) backing a mission that actually matters.
Your Mission
Define and lock Joyful's growth strategy: which channels, partners, and events drive warm pipeline for healthcare practices
Establish baseline metrics across inbound channels and set quarterly KPI targets aligned with sales funnel requirements
Launch 2-3 high-impact ecosystem activations (events, partnerships, or community initiatives) that generate qualified leads
Build growth ops infrastructure: funnel tracking, lead scoring, campaign measurement, and reporting dashboards
Scale inbound pipeline to 2-3x initial volume with <$X CAC and >40% conversion rates from ecosystem-sourced leads
Build repeatable, scalable programs across events, content, and partnerships that generate consistent warm pipeline monthly
Hire and onboard 2-3 growth team members (demand gen, partnerships, or community manager) based on strategy priorities
Establish Joyful as a recognized voice in healthcare finance: speaking slots at major conferences, thought leadership content, strong community presence

Track MQLs, SQLs, and revenue by inbound source (events, partnerships, content, community) to optimize spend allocation.
Cost Per Qualified Lead
Measure CAC by channel to ensure efficiency and scale only what works for your healthcare practice buyer.
Ecosystem Lead Conversion Rate
Monitor how well ecosystem-generated leads convert to customers vs. cold outreach-the signature of trusted growth.
Monthly Recurring Revenue from Growth Initiatives
Connect pipeline to closed revenue so you can see the real impact of your strategy on company growth.
Attendance & Engagement at Events/Partnerships
Track quality and attendance at your programs to validate which activations deserve scaling investment.

- You're comfortable with NYC on-site work 3 days/week and want stability after years of chaos
- You believe in the mission and want to shape an industry-not just optimize funnels
- You have real budget ownership experience and can measure what works vs. what doesn't
- You need fully remote-this role requires regular in-office presence in NYC
- You're a pure demand gen operator; this role requires strategic leadership and team building
- You don't have 5+ years of B2B SaaS growth experience or equivalent proven track record
- You're risk-averse or waiting for the perfect job-this is a founding role with uncertainty built in
