About the Role

One of our clients, a leading global organization in the aerospace and industrial sector, is seeking a Director – Commercial Strategy, CRM Growth & Sales Enablement to lead the design and execution of commercial strategy and sales enablement initiatives.

This role will act as the business owner for CRM platforms and drive the transformation of sales operations by developing scalable processes, improving pipeline visibility, and enabling revenue growth across global markets.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Demand Generation

  • Identify and develop market opportunities through data-driven account targeting and segmentation
  • Design and implement segment-specific commercial strategies across multiple business lines
  • Develop demand generation initiatives to drive revenue growth and pipeline expansion
  • Partner with commercial and marketing leadership to align CRM strategy with growth objectives
  • Oversee content and enablement platforms to ensure sales teams have access to relevant tools and insights


CRM Ownership & Commercial Architecture

  • Serve as the business owner for CRM platforms, defining the global operating model
  • Establish standardized sales processes, workflows, and governance frameworks
  • Define and optimize lead-to-opportunity-to-close lifecycle stages
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting tools to enhance forecasting and pipeline visibility
  • Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements into CRM enhancements and system improvements


Incentives & Performance Management

  • Partner with finance teams to design and implement sales incentive structures
  • Establish governance models for performance tracking and commission eligibility
  • Drive incentive programs to accelerate growth in key markets and segments
  • Align sales performance metrics with overall business objectives


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance

  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to standardize best practices and capture market insights
  • Partner with pricing and finance teams to integrate commercial and financial processes into CRM workflows
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards
  • Drive adoption of CRM systems and standardized processes across global teams


Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales strategy, or business development
  • Proven experience leading CRM strategy and managing platforms such as Salesforce
  • Strong experience in designing sales processes, pipeline governance, and performance frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
  • Proven track record in sales transformation or CRM implementation initiatives
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration across sales, finance, pricing, and IT teams
  • Ability to translate business strategy into scalable systems and processes
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
