What you'll do

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute an inbound marketing strategy focused on generating qualified B2B enquiries, quote requests, bulk orders, reseller opportunities, account applications, and online sales.

  • Build targeted campaigns and lead-generation funnels for different industries, customer segments, product categories, and purchasing needs.

  • Partner with sales and management teams to track leads from initial enquiry through conversion, improve lead quality, and introduce lead scoring, automated follow-up, and nurturing workflows.

  • Own the organic search strategy across SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation, and Generative Engine Optimisation, including keyword research, competitor analysis, technical optimisation, structured data, internal linking, content architecture, and search-intent analysis.

  • Optimise product, category, service, and location-based pages to improve rankings and visibility across traditional search engines and AI-generated search results.

  • Develop commercially focused content around pricing, bulk purchasing, product comparisons, specifications, delivery information, and frequently asked questions.

  • Create and optimise high-converting landing pages for retail, wholesale, reseller, corporate, and government audiences.

  • Improve calls to action, forms, account applications, checkout journeys, and other conversion points through testing and behavioural analysis.

  • Manage and optimise the e-commerce platform, including product information, descriptions, specifications, imagery, category structures, pricing, stock information, promotions, and customer journeys.

  • Develop strategies to increase average order value, purchase frequency, and repeat revenue through bundles, volume offers, cross-selling, upselling, promotions, and abandoned-cart recovery.

  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing, display, and relevant Meta or LinkedIn channels.

  • Manage advertising budgets and continuously improve cost per qualified lead, customer acquisition cost, and return on advertising spend.

  • Build segmented email marketing and automated lifecycle campaigns covering new enquiries, quote follow-ups, abandoned carts, account applications, repeat-order reminders, customer reactivation, product launches, and promotions.

  • Analyse campaign, CRM, website, and sales data to identify which marketing activities generate customers and revenue rather than relying on vanity metrics.

  • Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards covering leads, quote requests, e-commerce sales, conversion rates, organic performance, advertising efficiency, average order value, repeat purchasing, and marketing-attributed revenue.

  • Identify priority products, customer segments, and growth opportunities in collaboration with sales and management teams.

  • Continuously test, measure, and refine marketing initiatives to improve commercial performance and establish clear attribution between digital activity and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, inbound marketing, or lead generation.

  • Proven track record of generating measurable online revenue and/or qualified B2B leads through digital marketing.

  • Strong practical experience across SEO, AEO, GEO, content strategy, and search-intent optimisation.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimise sales-focused landing pages and conversion funnels.

  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, Google Shopping, remarketing, and performance-focused paid campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce conversion-rate optimisation and the customer journey from acquisition through purchase and repeat ordering.

  • Experience with email marketing, CRM systems, segmentation, and marketing automation.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, advertising platforms, and CRM or sales data.

  • Experience managing large product catalogues or businesses with multiple SKUs is highly desirable.

  • Excellent written English and strong commercially focused copywriting skills.

  • Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, launch initiatives, analyse results, and continuously improve performance.

  • Strong commercial mindset, with a clear understanding that traffic, rankings, and engagement matter primarily when they contribute to enquiries, customers, and profitable revenue.

  • Experience with platforms and tools such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Canva, Adobe, or conversion-testing and heat-mapping tools is highly valued.

  • Australian B2B or e-commerce market experience is an advantage.

  • Strong portfolio of measurable results, with examples of e-commerce revenue growth, B2B lead generation, SEO improvements, landing-page performance, advertising management, or customer acquisition optimisation.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote, work-from-home position.

  • Full-time opportunity with significant ownership over digital growth and e-commerce performance.

  • Opportunity to directly influence qualified lead generation, online revenue, customer acquisition, and repeat purchasing.

  • Broad ownership across SEO, AEO, GEO, paid media, e-commerce, conversion optimisation, email marketing, automation, and analytics.

  • Hands-on role in a commercially focused environment where performance is measured through tangible business outcomes.

  • High level of autonomy to identify opportunities, launch campaigns, test new approaches, and optimise performance.

  • Opportunity to work across a diverse B2B customer base and extensive range of office, packaging, and business products.

  • Exposure to a broad technology stack spanning e-commerce, analytics, advertising, CRM, marketing automation, SEO, and conversion optimisation.

  • Opportunity to build and scale data-driven marketing systems with clear attribution between activity and revenue.
