The Challenge

GitGuardian is scaling its European footprint in cybersecurity with backing from GitHub and Docker co-founders. You'll own the field marketing playbook for DACH—designing events and ABM campaigns that generate qualified pipeline and establish GitGuardian as the non-human identity security leader.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing DACH event portfolio and competitive landscape; propose optimized marketing mix for Germany, Austria, Switzerland with 2-3 flagship events locked in

2

Develop localized messaging framework for German-speaking audiences; align with Sales on lead qualification criteria and post-event follow-up SLAs

3

Execute first regional ABM campaign targeting 5-10 enterprise accounts; establish baseline pipeline contribution metrics

4

Build relationships with local vendors, venues, and sponsorship contacts; secure budget allocation for regional initiatives

By 6 Months
1

Deliver 3-5 executed regional events with documented ROI; demonstrate pipeline contribution vs. budget spent

2

Coach Sales and BDR teams on event-specific tactics; achieve 80%+ lead follow-up rate within SLA

3

Scale ABM program to 15-20 accounts; show MQL-to-SQL conversion lift vs. baseline

4

Present regional performance dashboard to leadership; recommend budget reallocation for next fiscal year based on data

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You speak fluent German (C2) and have 1-2 years hands-on experience in DACH markets—you get the business culture nuances
  • You've built regional marketing plans mixing events, ABM, and localization; you own the metrics and optimize ruthlessly
  • You thrive coordinating 3-5 simultaneous events at different stages while juggling budget, vendors, and last-minute crises
  • You're obsessed with pipeline generation: you speak MQL/SQL/ROI fluently and coach Sales teams on lead follow-up discipline
Won't Work If
  • German fluency is aspirational, not business-level—this role demands daily German communication with local vendors and customers
  • You've only done global campaigns from HQ; zero experience building regional plans with localization and vendor management
  • You view events as 'nice-to-have' brand activities—this role demands you tie every tactic to qualified pipeline and ROI
