The Challenge
A leading fintech disrupting investment access is building its CRM foundation from the ground up. You'll architect their entire customer data strategy, manage automations across acquisition-to-retention, and lead a junior manager—with full autonomy to reshape how they engage investors and entrepreneurs.
Your Mission
Audit current CRM setup (Typeform, Calendly, member portal) and define target architecture with tech team
Design lead scoring model and segment strategy for investor vs. entrepreneur funnels
Deploy 3-5 automated workflows (onboarding, nurture, re-engagement) using Make/Zapier
Establish baseline metrics: conversion rates, email engagement, segment health scores
Complete CRM tool evaluation and implement new platform (if needed) with full data migration
Build multi-channel campaign engine (email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications) with A/B testing framework
Train and empower junior CRM manager to own campaign execution and daily optimizations
Achieve 20%+ uplift in conversion rates and document all workflows for scalability
KPIs You'll Own
Lead-to-Member Conversion Rate
Track conversion efficiency across investor and entrepreneur funnels with segment-level visibility.
Email Engagement Rate
Monitor open, click, and reply rates by segment to inform nurture sequence optimization.
Automation ROI
Measure revenue or engagement impact per automated workflow to justify tool spend and prioritize builds.
Data Quality Score

Customer Lifetime Value by Cohort

Is This Role For You?
- You've led CRM implementations or major platform overhauls (5–8 years hands-on experience)
- You're fluent in automation tools (Make, Zapier) and no-code integrations (Typeform, Calendly)
- You thrive on analytics: you translate data into concrete optimization wins (segmentation, scoring, workflows)
- You want full ownership—no stakeholder theatre, real strategic control and direct reports
- You need prescriptive processes or heavy governance—this is a structural build-from-scratch role
- You're averse to hands-on execution: you'll code workflows, not just delegate them
- You lack fintech/B2B SaaS experience in customer lifecycle optimization
